I have the same views as they are scamming a lot of people out of their money. seems to be a numbers game with them give as many fake tickets out as possible with the hope a percentage will agree and pay up.

the manager of our gym has filled a complaint with the police but the police have stated it is a civil matter!

I have also informed the IPC who isn't shrugged me off!

I cannot believe how these companies can get away with making thousands of pounds by scamming people out of their money with no repercussions!

The Police are probably hearing parking problem instead of fraudulent activity

It is indeed a side issue, but it hardly merits your scold. In any case, tax evasion concerns us all.

pretty frustrated today as i have contacted a number of institutions; the IPC, BPA, Citezens Advice, Trading Standards, POPLA and not one of them seems interested!!

So the outcome to me looks like these fraudsters can continue to illegally extort people out of their money with NO form of repercussion!! No wonder they are so arrogant and smug because they clearly know there is no associations that are willing to jump on their back!

Any one any ideas? is legal advice the next step?

You issue a Counter claim defence against the Gym for the claim amount.
The Gym will then have to sort the parking firm out and not just leave you out to dry.
They have the paper work you require and counter claiming the loss as the plan tiff is acting as agent to principle will make them cough up what you need to make the judge boot the case.
The Gym will have to just suck it up, they should have thought about this before getting in to bed with them.
I do Contracts, all day every day.
  • Thought you all would like to know that UKCPS Ltd have a contract signed by the total fitness (Wigan) big bosses. UKCPS Ltd are contracted to all Total Fitness's contract number 1651 and was signed on the 17th April 2012 and was in operation when the above parked.

Yes i work for UKCPS Ltd and yes i have seen the contract which is signed by the landlord agent. If the above person who parked there would like to ask the manager at the Total fitness in wigan to contact us, we would be more than happy to send a copy to the MANAGER, to be passed to the motorist in question so both can see.

You have broken the rules of this board where you are supposed to declare you connection with any company.

God you should be ashamed. Imagine actually thinking this is a good thing to do for a living. Probably is, for thick gits with zero conscience or care for humanity whose only agenda is money.

What goes around, comes around, and it will. Absolute scum, some of these firms, true bottom feeders.
