post #5 tells you when to send in the appeal from the KEEPER
your ticket is in regards to a driver appeal, you wont be appealing as driver, but will be appealing as KEEPER
there is a difference , dont get sucked into their deceit0 -
Fruitcake,
I've just seen your reply....sorry but I have too many pages opened in my toolbar regarding this issue...
Yes, I will copy and paste the template from NEWBIES thread...I wasn't sure when to post it, as tomorrow is the 14th day since receiving the ticket.
thank you so much0 -
Thanks, Redx,
Now I got it. It's the first time I'm appealing against a PCN and I'm not familiar with this...Thank God I will have enough time to read the NEWBIES threads...0 -
Forget the 14 day deadline, it does not apply to appeals, you have 28 days and you appeal ONLY as the keeper.
In the NEWBIES thread the timing is DELIBERATE not to appeal until day 21 if posting a letter (only if you HAVE to!) or day 26 if emailing or appealing online (which is what you should choose, if they offer that).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi I have received a windscreen ticket from the same company in south London, I read the newbies thread and have a question about the template before I send it off in 2 weeks as you advised (it's now day 13)c). There is no evidence that you have any interest in the land. I will complain to the landowner about your aggressive ticketing.
d). Your 'Notice' fails to comply with the POFA so there can be no keeper liability.
c) I complained to the landowner and I was told that the PPC has been authorised to 'aggressively ticket' as you put it so is this point still valid?
d) By 'Notice' I think this is referring to the 'notice to driver' that is the windscreen ticket. I read the PoFA and my ticket does appear to be compliant with the requirements for notice to driver?
I suppose the keeper is not liable unless the 'notice to keeper' is issued properly, and the driver is not named, but from their website it seems as if they know how to comply with the PoFA and will do so, and since I am not going to name the driver, then the keeper appears to be liable at first glance?0 -
if needs be , remove the landowner part from the template appeal (remove this part - I will complain to the landowner about your aggressive ticketing.)
send your appeal by post between day 21 and day 25, or if email or online appeals are possible , day 25 to day 27
you will be appealing as KEEPER, in which case they need to comply with POFA, meaning they still need to send an NTK that needs to comply with POFA2012
you will be hoping they do not send this between day 29 and day 56
if you need further help, please start your own thread, otherwise just follow the same advice as given in this one0 -

Right, but if we are hoping they will forget to send it at the right time, what is the purpose of reminding them with the initial appeal? Isn't it meant to be rejected anyway so that we can move on to POPLA?0 -
are you a gas emergency engineer or other, as gas emergency engineers have signs they display that clearly state why they are there. Thought that has not stopped them getting clamped in past.
If other the company responsible has no way of knowing why you are there.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0 -

the NEWBIES sticky thread explains all this (in post #1) , so we dont have to
I did ask you to start your own thread if you have further questions, you have ignored this request , so I wont be answering your queries in somebody elses thread (known as a thread hijack)0
