    Hi all,

    NSD 1 yesterday :)
    NSD1 for me today :)

    Well done everyone! :j:j
This month certainly is getting off with a bang! ;)

    Cheffie,noooooooooooo!
  • Welcome to this lovely challenge!
Shove up everyone, make room for more bums on seats please.
Now,would like tea,tea or ovaltine?Mrs Doyle has only just allowed Ovaltine at bedroom....please don't mention coffee in front of her though.
Twenty nsds is a fair number, but not impossible. It depends a lot on your rules. Some people allow budgeted spends;that could be grocery shopping, presents, dog food, holiday spending money...any money you've put aside.
Some don't count 'essential' spends:petrol, milk, bread, prescriptions, bus fare...
Some people count all spends, but tbh honest,I don't think that there are too many doing that.
I don't count bills, dds, rent etc as these are essential spends and non negotiable IYSWIM.
I have a yearly travelcard which I use most days and a yearly subscription for the swimming pool and count these as a one-off yearly spend.
Then there's emergency spends ie prescriptions,a light bulb....
    Just a few ideas...
You make the rules for yourself, and can change them at any point too.
So 20 nsds gives you 10 spendy days ie one spendy day every three days.

Thanks for the welcome. Tea for me, little bit of milk, no sugar, bag left in!!! My rules will be that all direct debits, bills, mortgage etc don't count, everything else does. We have 1 NSD under our belt so far, I had to post a birthday present today, so £3.90 spent there, and also more Covonia needed which was another £4. But we should have 3 NSDs under our belt by the weekend, as no more foreseeable spends needed until Friday now (grocery shopping day).

    another No NSD.
I was cold and had half an hour to kill in town so I met my sister before she started work for a hot chocolate. I had to wait until my partner picked up his phone since he was at an important event and I couldn't get hold of him through the internet or text because I had no signal in work :(

Don't regret it though - was nice to spend time with my sister for a short while.
I usually don't get to see her much. Odd that we live in the same house but we're
almost never home at the same time. I don't see her in the mornings before i leave for work
and i don't see her when I get home from work (she works nights)

Igor, may I suggest the next time you decide to stuff 146 voles into a suitcase that you dose them up with Valium first?

Go and see Mrs Doyle for some ointment for your you-know-what. Then get knitwitch to measure you up for some new trousers.

Hubert, stop giggling. You're next for vole-stuffing duty.

And Hubert? When you have finished cramming those 150 voles into jodies' suitcase, go and check on the firework supplies, I think a big celebration will be called for!
