Reporting in with a total so far this month of 11 NSD has been a nightmare of a week with an unexpected vet visit  but could have been worse and poochy is on the mend :j

Oh zenshi, sometimes it's not worth getting out of bed...

I'm glad that the woofer is on the mend.

Well done on getting #11. :j:j

I like when someone posts and has a big number to chuck in the cauldron.
  • Today was spendy for me again...
  • Just a few questions about Chr***mas panto...I really don't know a lot about pantos,so what pantos are traditionally done at this time?

    I've heard of Aladdin.
Is Peter Pan ever done in panto?
What other pantos are put on at Chris***s?

Igor and Hubert are keen to play the parts of Peter Pan and Wendy (of course),you see.
I need to find out asap, because Hubert's nervous bladder just can't take the strain....He's already got all his strappy high heeled sandals out and is matching lippie, nail polish and hair pieces....

Needless to say,Igor is still in my bad books, but he has informed me that he has a friend who has a friend who can get us a few crates of the hard stuff...that fell off the back of a lorry. And it won't cost us a thing.... :j:j

As long as we can be merry,I can just about overlook his shortcomings.

I see Igor is prostrate on the floor, gibbering away....Chef and Mrs Doyle have given him a going over for stealing the loo roll money, and he has been made to burn every single chest wig he owns.....he now wants to confess something else......

Cinderella,Goldilocks,Snow White,Sleeping Beauty......Yikes, these all caught Hubert's eye, which is why he is now under heavy sedation.

Cheffie fancies himself as Captain Hook...and is strutting about, gibbering away.Sounds like 'chicky chicky aaar,bork,swabzedex'...
    He's a natural,I can see,but a month late! 'rolls eyes'

PS I don't think I've ever been to a panto in my life.Is that weird,or is there anyone else out there?

What now Igor, you devious stealer of the loo roll funds? And for what?A old, smelly chest wig that seen better days?

I'll get my own back, don't you worry.

marmite - you haven't lived! And what is even more fun than watching a panto is being in a panto! I used to do pantos with the local am dram group years ago. My last role was Prince Charming in Cinderella - I was in the early stages of pregnancy with DS at the time. The only reason I don't do it now is shift work - cannot guarantee being able to attend rehearsals.

I might have been to one as a child.I'll have to ask my parents.
    I don't remember it though.

Prince Charming!Care to reprise the role in the Ennessdee panto Bonanza this year?
  • Igor also has his eye on the role, what with him being eye candy and all that.

He's also got a thing about tights.

Who could forget his touching portrayal as Romeo (in tights) in the balcony scene earlier on this year?
Before the balcony collapsed due to Juliet being overplayed by a hefty donkey simpering madly in a pretty frock and spanx....
