Mum can only do "mess" for 24 hours, now it is all too much and she has made a few comments. I am not rising to the bait tho, she will have to suck it up. Just have to get it off my chest here instead!
She doesn't like my plans for the conservatory - not that she knows what they are!
I am not going to Pets at home, I shall pop in tomorrow on the way home from work, going today would be a pain in the bum so staying and tidying is the way forward.

I did have to do some of BEST positive thinking today.
She is not going to change. I can change.
I have no money and have done no work. However I fixed the external fish filter and the baby guppies survived.
Next weekend depending on the weather I am getting out in the garden if it kills. Going to do 15 minutes each day to the conservatory. One side looks great, it is just the other side to deal with now!

May I gently ask why you have not told your mom about the lump in your breast?Overprepare, then go with the flow.

She has a heart condition, tends to get super stressed over everything and is currently adjusting to new meds. She is 79 and until I know precisely what I am dealing with I didn't want to tell her.
I think I will have to tho as the op is looking likely. I have an appointment on Thursday to discuss.
