Chin up, AC. You have just to ride it out a bit longer. It will all come right in the end.

In the meantime, getting selling unwanted stuff, and try to sleep well, eat right and get a bit of exercise.

I have been taking my own advice - a few early nights and restful days have helped and I'm starting to feel a but more human.

Today sees the start of my new healthy eating regime and exercise programme.

Do you have catch up TV......there was an excellent programme about aging last night, the benefits of exercise, staying active, having adventures. It was on ITV1 I think. Well worth a look - even my son who hs just reached the ripe old age of 30 sat up and took notice and has resolved to make a few lifestyle changes.

AC the best is yet to come ..........you just have to get over this next few months.

Speaking of lifestyle changes heres my six my month plan.......

    1. Lose two,stones
    2. Buy a house
    3. Slash all unnecessary spending
    4. Save hard
    5. Look for additional income streams

My pension income is perfectly adequate but I want to earn a bit more for some exotic holidays and adventures.........:rotfl:

    Congratulations Anna.

You're getting it together LL, so proud ;)
TV? Most (90%+) is total drivel. Can't do any reality programmes I'm afraid . I watch Walter presents, and BBC 4 for the foreign stuff. That's mainly it .
I'll lose weight when iMovie . Pointless to do anything now .
Trying to control my emotions is difficult , at the moment . Not really
    In a bad way .
It's just that I need to go, and I've told a few people in work about next year being my year ( life changing etc.)
The building is getting too hot and unbearable . Combine that with annoying people .. You get my drift.

I will probably reduce price in 2 weeks time . £400 k was what everyone said , whether the agents blew it up , is another matter .
Maybe reduce to £412k. First offer £400+ or over gets it .

Reducing the price sounds like a good plan. What's it on at now......is it £425k.

If you don't get any more viewings next week then I think a reduction to £412k should kickstart some interest. A reduction of £13k to allow for refurbishment costs sounds very fair.

AC - Next year WILL be your year. You just need to be patient for a little while longer.

In the meantime......How is the music going.......are you playing that guitar.

I'm going to look for some dancing classes - more fun than jogging........lol.

    Hi AC

Good to hear you so positive about moving.

But you do need a bit of patience waiting for YOUR buyer; the one who will find everything to their liking and can imagine living there, just as you did X years ago. You're sounding a bit stressed about the waiting now; go do some yoga and calm down a bit!

Agree with LL's last post in all respects re price etc.

But would add that losing weight isn't something for the future, you can start now, so you'll have made a few weeks/months progress when you do move. Be daring and get ahead of yourself! I find I'm eating less in this hot weather anyway, so add a little more exercise, and you have nothing to lose - EXCEPT a bit of weight!

ETA: just realised I don't think you've had the sizzling week of summer sun that we've had over here on the west coast ...! It's lovely!

    Thanks Tuesday / LL;)
Yes , a volcano is inside me waiting to explode . Not really in a bad way. This morning , I have meeting with chairman.
I have 2 scenarios as to what will be asked, and what will be said.
I'm not holding back! Not worried. The quicker the move, tge quicker my proper life happens .
Financially , as well. Needing help desperately . So , a buyer will help .

Not touching the bass guitar , at the moment .
I sold an amplifier yesterday . When I move , I will spoil myself and get a top of the range bass and amp .

To be fair, this year has been very good. Only 6 months left .

This time last year, I was in a terrible state . Could hardly talk.
16 prednisolone + other tablets etc . Kind of in a stroke like condition.( now 2 prednisolone and Othet tablets )
Next month, will see the year anniversary of my suspension from work. 5 weeks after that , they tried to sack me via the company doctor. But I got a final written warning suspended for 2 years.
    All this for defending myself
So, this morning will be interesting ;)

Back to my flat: needs proper paint job( including glossing).New carpet throughout, new bathroom . Kitchen. . Hopefully , the reduced price will work.
  • Meeting done . Short and sweet;) no damage done ( today) .
Now to pray for a buyer;)
