AC, you are so, so brave. Seriously, respect, dude. I so hope this finds you settled in your nice hotel and chillin'.

I can't quite believe you actually did it, how amazing is that?

    Well.....
I did not make it on time . It was about 6.40 when I got there.
Carrying a horse on my back, I got a miserable taxi driver.
Actually, he wasn't too bad, just had a quiet week.
We got on. Got to the quay. And then more fun ....

Massive building. I asked a nice security guard( poor English , but nice guy)
He just came in from Portsmouth , unfamiliar with anything.
I managed to find my room on the 4th floor via the 2nd. Don't ask.
The security guy got a master key which did not work.
I met a nice young guy who advised me to go to security when he saw me almost asleep on couch outside lift.
So around 9pm, I went back to security. I spoke to his office in Surrey .
He was no good TBH .
I eventually went to outside my apartment to charge my phone 1% yes , things are desperate.
Then another security guard arrives. We got on, but he is on holiday.
He came in to do me a favour.
So, we get in his car, and collect keys/pass from different part of building in the pouring rain.
I eventually go back and actually enter my dept. Totally stunning! Wow! Etc!
I had nothing to earth all day, until I got service on the train.
Then that was 2 bottles coke . 2 Mars . 1 pack mini cheddar s.
When I got in the apartment I had a couple of complimentary biscuits and 2 kit Kats , and mug of black coffee.
On top of all that, my brothers mate kept phoning me. I blocked his calls.

I've come to the conclusion, that I am totally mad and need to be shot.
    I'm not right.
    Typing this in bed :)
    Zzz

Before I sleep, I must thank you all for everything .
    More to come
  • Glad you got in at last AC. Sort yourself out with some healthy food tomorrow after hopefully a decent nights sleep.
