I am ignoring the news, TV and radio as can't bear to hear any more from the gloating Farage or Trump, a man certainly full of hot air. Off for a swim with OH then out to lunch with friends.

The weather is vile, the media is in a frenzy - practically eating itself.

I am going to stay at home, keep warm and cosy, rest, exercise, get fit, cook healthy foods, practising my Paleo friendly baking (I have ordered several non wheat flours) along with extra fuel for the fire. I've cranked up the boiler, the freezer is full, the food cupboards are groaning.

Domestic goddess time, a warm kitchen, a cosy fire, a stack of books to read, films to watch, music to play. I'm happy. I will leave the world to its madness and wait for the dust settle.

But ....seriously .......the US has a population of 200 m and Trump and Clinton were the best they could come up with!???

Same here. May or Corbyn ??? Is this really the best we can do........Maybe I should run for PM.

I bet China is concerned though and with good reason. The US is their biggest market and Trump is nothing if not protectionist, world trade may end up looking very different.

They had shot some big game and were posing with their "trophies" grinning their faces off, rifles in hand - high powered telescopic of course so they could shoot from a safe distance. Heaven forbid they should put themselves at risk from their so called sport.

I've had a thoroughly lazy day.

EA rang about the house I saw last week. It's not my dream house but I liked it well enough.....but not at the price they are asking. :rotfl:

The vendors are obviously keen for a quick sale and although I told the EA I was still mullling it over and wanted a second viewing before I made a final decision she pushed me to make an offer.....so I did.......a very cheeky one.

The vendor is thinking it over. Apparently they have another viewer lined up......(so why push me for an offer).

Tbh the house is cute, in a nice area but it didn't send my pulse racing........so as I told the EA, my offer is on the table, I won't engage in bidding war.
