Ha ha......why do I get the impression that you are really enjoying your revenge for the way you have been treated.

I guess the old saying is true......"revenge is a dish best eaten cold".

One more sleep, one more day.
  • :):)
Thing is ,my colleague arrives back from his holiday on Friday .
He is the type that'll just turn up . Obviously hope not .
  • I was on a very high dose of prednisolone for bells palsy last December and it literally felt like I had an army of ants running through my veins. Chronic insomnia for about 5 days until the dose started decreasing and my body had adjusted to it. Presumably you are not on a high dose AC?

Such a shame about your DH LL. Sorry you feeling melancholy :(

  • Well enthusiastic: I was mis diagnosed with partial palsy 3 .
No mediction at the time . I ( stupidly ) , waited for a full 6 months to go back to moorfields eye hsp ,before being told I had m g .

I cannot remember how much I was on, but now it's 10mg (2 tablets )daily.
Everything is much better than last year ,for example .
I deliberately let myself go fatter a few months ago, as I was fighting a losing battle with shifts .
  • AC, re storage - I suppose it will depend on the company, but I paid for one year in advance, and got two months refunded when I emptied it early. Alternatively, you can rent on a monthly basis, but that is a little bit more expensive. Access shouldn't be a problem - mine was 24/7. Make a wee list of the questions that you need to clarify an give a couple of them a call.

One more day to go. Whatever happens, you can get through it, and nodding and smiling is the best way.

When I left my last job, my manager passed me twice and didn't even acknowledge that it was my last day. There was no love lost between us - she'd moved me to a very different team without even discussing it, and didn't bother to follow the correct procedure after I was assaulted by a client - because one of my colleagues told her I'd be handing in my notice the following week. So unprofessional. But she is stuck in a company which has been badly financially-managed, and keeps making cuts, and she is close to retirement with little prospects of moving job - and I am in my dream cottage by the sea with no debts, on a now-extended year out!

Just focus on the positives, and in a few weeks you will be settled somewhere, relaxing and recuperating, and taking time to find your dream home.

Sorry if I added to the melancholy LL.

When my daughter graduated we put her accumulated stuff into self store. After a few days in a very hot summer she asked whether I thought we should empty it so we could get to the bucket at the back, where she had put a pack of cheese. As you do. Somehow in September we didn't find everything coated in exploded cheddar.

One more day to go, one more day of sorrow.............

    All join in.
  • Today's the day! Hope that it goes as smoothly as possible for you.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back
  • Hi AC! Enjoy your last day at work! What an amazing feeling that must be.

Well we are in our new house and we love it! The stress has now all gone and any doubts I had about moving have disappeared immediately. I'm sure you will be just as happy when you arrive in Poole :)
