Hi AC, just read your thread, just wanted to say go for it and make your move to Dorset, it's a beautiful county, my parents are in Christchurch and I visit often. Public transport is very cheap and regular, rent is considerably cheaper, there is nothing to dislike about the place, be brave and do it0

Thanks [Deleted User];)
Tomorrow and Thursday will be interesting , valuation wise.
I feel more inspired now , and anticipating change . A c0 -
Well, the first viewing has been made .
I asked him , what is the lowest price . Not an inflated price.
He said £400,000 minimum . He will put it on at £425,000.
11/2.% sole agent fee .
I liked him . He said that I don't need to do anything to the property.
Sell as is . I like that approach , because of lack of funds, and exhaustion .
Next viewing tomorrow . Then I will make a decision .
I was gonna get 3 in , but the other 2 websites were not very good with iPads .
The first estate agent is a good name in twickenham . The other one is a big name estate agent.
In 2 weeks time exactly , I'll be in branksome . I now have to try and line up a couple of places to look at , for when I get there. ( my poor friend ).
I have asked him to highlight a few good streets to look at. I will email estate agents as soon as I get that info.
Things are moving fast.
According to the pamphlet from the first estate agent , I could have completion in 31+ days ( 5 stages ).
Hopefully , I can find place asap. If not , selling the flat chain free is the way to go.
Wish me luck0 -
Good luck! Great news on valuation.I have been following your thread recently and I am rooting for you.

A bit daunting now . After being angry at work, I feel alive again .
Gotta pull my finger out , and get those estate agents in branksome0 -

London ( & indeed Greater London ) house prices are absolutely crazy .
Living in the Borough of Richmond ,has its advantages I guess.
Even some hell holes in London are expensive .

Just emailed an estate agent in Westbourne . It's supposed to be ok there .
Trying to lineup something for my trip in2 weeks .
The ball is well and truly rolling ..0 -
haggle the estate agents fees like mad though.
I've had 3 valuations with the fees ranging from 0.75-1.5%
I've gone with the agents that were originally 1.5 but got them down to 1%....0
