Good luck with the viewings LL .
Ready , steady go. I have heard of it , but thankfully it was before my time :)

It was compulsory to watch it.......

well it was when you were 15, living in the provinces and with aspirations to be a switched on and "with it" :rotfl::rotfl:

I have a lot to think about now .
One or two of my friends are not keen on Poole to live.
That's absolutely fine, it's not them that will be living there :). WILL YOU STOP THINKING PLEASE :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

They like it for our yearly social gathering tho'.

I know I'm in an enviable position . 'Why Poole '.
What goes with moving ? Worrying :)

    Give over......stop whittling over nothing.

Who cares what your friends think.

Live where you want to live. Live for yourself, live your life, not somebody else's.

As our parents used to say "if your friends jumped over a cliff, would you do the same":rotfl:

    It's your life not theirs........

AC This is exactly why I have suggested it's so important for you to rent first.

    "Try before you buy".

That way you'll get it right.
  • I sent a response this morning, but the building I'm in has a terrible signal .
I think with my friends, they are looking it for me , making sure I don't do something silly .
I've just got to get on with it.
Just got a letter from my solicitor . Now I have to find a £150 fee to start the ball rolling .
I imagine , there would be no more fees after this until completion.

Here's a radical thought, AC: How about taking a packed lunch and a thermos flask to work, or making a drink there instead of spending what I am sure must add up to a fortune in Caffe Niro or whatever it's called? I bet you'd save £150 in a month or little more.

LL, it is amazeballs (where is MuffinTops?) how alike you and I think about some things. I have said for decades, "the day you stop learning, you might as well stop." I also agree with you about a cheeseless existence... though a toastless existence would also be a drag, to say nothing of a cheese on toastless existence... what was DS2 doing tempting you with posh bread?

I work in a hell hole. No privacy no proper ventilation .
I spend way more than that on cafe Nero .
There is nowhere to go, and nothing to do . One of the reasons I'm getting out of here.
When I'm in Nero , headphones on , no interruptions .
There is always someone that wants something at the wrong time .
I will be saving a huge amount when I'm settled in my new abode.

OK, AC, somehow I knew you would react like that. If you are on an official break, people should respect your privacy but, if they don't, they don't.

If anyone has signed up/would like to sign up to the Free Post Code lottery (which has been mentioned in the weekly MSE email before now so I do not expect to be shot down for advertising) there is a link to some free online courses, some of which look quite interesting.

No 2 days are alike in this place. But it's the only routine, I've made that works since I joined this place .
My dietary requirements don't help :) all that smelly cardboard food , like shitsu, tossed etc don't help .

AC i'm still following this thread, and am buzzing that you've the chance of a brand new start, so stop dithering now! Otherwise you'll remind me of Mavis off Corry St, constantly saying "I don't really knnooooow!";):rotfl:
