Thanks Harz.
Well, Westbourne isn't too far from Bournemouth . I do like it there but it isn't cheap either.
TBH there isn't anywhere else I would feel comfortable going to at this stage .0 -

Is the area......sea views!!! Needs a bit of freshening up but if the area is good then worth it for the view.
I'll look for more. I do enjoy spending other people's money..........0 -

I have looked at several of the flats. Be careful - some have been on the market quite a while.
My best advice is go for a little house.
1. They are easier to resell.
2. No maintenace fees.
3. Less chance of nightmare neighbours.
4. Less risk of excessive noise.
5. More freedom to make your own choices.
6. You have full control of your environment, ie no messy shared areas.
7. Better long term investment growth.
If you are concerned about future mobility needs then either go for a bungalow or property built after 2007.0 -

I rather like this one........;)
Ps I've downloaded it to pinch some ideas.0 -
Thanks LL
Iwill mention those to my friend .
Places I was looking at: north road ( lower park stone )
Windsor road ( penn hill). The thing about penn hill, you need a car for most of it.
BTW : the pimp flat I mentioned earlier , is in right move ( north road).
Great price, but you can see why:)
If I could get a house I would, unfortunately I don't think I could afford one in the areas I mentioned . Don't want to be in the centre of Poole .
Would consider bungalow

Ideal for seminars and conferences0 -
Felt slightly sad with your situation, but I guess we are all suffering in one way or the other, so keep going. Anyway, I would say it would be very tough for you to go on travelling at this stage of your life especially to places you least aware of. BTW, isn’t there anyone else in your family?0
