... but it's a great drying day here, LL, next door to you! How are you doing now, is the physio finished yet? Sending you a hug.0

Phoned up chase Buchanan . They will send out paperwork .
Should have went out yesterday .They were slack and someone was off yesterday and I basically kicked their you know what .
Actually , you lot kicked mine . Thank you
Tomorrow I will phone my solicitor and then chase Buchanan giving them his details .Also by email .
So,,here we go ....:)0 -
LL said I was right about something! It's like being teacher's pet for five minutes :rotfl:
I think the operative word in Chase Buchanan is chase... unfortunately indicating what you need to do, AC, rather than what they should be doing and are not.0 -
How did you move flats the last time? Man with a van, a removal company or some pals and a van ? Have you started packing so it doesn't get too stressful. When you are sitting with your feet up is a great time to tidy out a drawer or cupboard. Things are progressing. Did the FTBs say when they wanted in?0

No idea about the first time buyers .
When I spoke to chase a few moments ago ,I told them that I will probably go back to Poole next week. A few have no chain .
Maybe none of them will be for me .
There is a place called penn hill . A little further out ( bus ride) from Ashley cross . Some look nice there .0 -
Grunnie , when I moved last time I got a local removal co.
This time? Not sure yet . One of my other friends who lives in Farnham ( and who knows this friend longer than me ) said he may do it .
I'd obviously have to hire a very large van .
The leather furniture very nearly never fitted up the stairs. I got away with it. The leather furniture needs reupholstering if I am to keep it .(20 years old next year) I need a new bed also .
When to start packing : last time I did it all in the last week .
However, I will need to buy some large plastic crates on wheels .
I have some . And they are awesome. Probably buy them in a months time and just start from there .
One good thing , is I have the original boxes for my TVs and amplifiers and soundbar.
Hoping that I can have some spare cash to buy furniture .
I don't want to take the fridge / freezer with me . Then again it's only a year old and my mum gave me the cash for it ..
Will try and travel as light as possible0 -
Seriously, AC... why fork out for a new fridge freezer when you have a perfectly good one which is only one year old? Not that you know if it will fit, yet. You do not have to ditch everything you own to make a new start... that is a state of mind, not possessions.0

I'll think about it smodlet. Thanks0

The Pilates machine , probably got to go,:)
Won't get much for it , but in a new flat it's probably not practical.
When the weather get cooler, I could use it before the move tho':)0 -

AC does it have to be close to Ashley Cross, if so you are severely restricting your choices.
I've come to realise you want to be near to your friends, so would a bus ride from say Bournemouth, not be acceptable? There is a huge amount more to choose from if you can open up the area you will consider a bit more, much of it at significantly lower prices than Ashley Cross/Parkstone/Penn Hill.
See below for bus routes between Poole and Bournemouth via Ashley Cross.
