Hey Petal,
Just caught up on your diary. Good luck with the exams and congrats on the pay rise!!!!MFW Start:[STRIKE] Sep 2014 - £110,844[/STRIKE], July 2019 New Home £190,995

So - exams were a mixed bag. I did so many (4) compared to what other people do (1-2) that I always knew they weren't all going to go well. Fingers crossed I pass 2 out of 4 at least! Although with 28% pass rates in June, I'm not holding my breath...
Otherwise - I am dead excited about today being my last day at work, and that payday and bonus comes in on Wednesday already. I made a £100 OP at the beginning of the month and did another small one of 10.58 (I think) the other day as a TT. As I won't be using my B@rclays account anymore, I'm hoping to transfer the last few pounds from there into the mortgage account as well at some point next week.
Checked zoopla the other day, and I know they're only guesstimates but the estimated property value has gone up again so it's now increased 35k since we bought the flat in April! That brings us one step closer to the 80% LTV I'm aiming for in 2017 :TMortgage Oct '20: £615k

Thanks hiddenshadow and LiL!
Today was payday so I'm a happy bunny.
MSE friendly updates:
-The spanish account yielded £6.90 in interest, which is pretty good considering that only included one bill cashback and I paid some wedding deposits which made my funds temporarily low. I'm excited to see how the amounts will vary month on month #dork.
- Am at my parents' now so the flat is inhabited by Airbnb people - fingers crossed I don't have to come back to squatters! The extra cash will be good though.
- Christmas wise, my family doesn't really do presents so I only got my brother one, so that's turned out quite cheap!
- I'll spend the 28th-2nd with the OH's side of the family so that will cut food costs for the rest of the year
- Did my online food shopping for the 3rd today using a 25% off voucher including free delivery.:beer:Mortgage Oct '20: £615k

Time to jot down my New Year resolutions here so that you can point and laugh at me at the end of the year if I haven't met my goals
Let's start with the financial ones:
- OP £1,500 this year. I’ve signed up to the MFW 2016 board to make sure I do it.
- Save £13,200 this year towards the wedding:eek: . We’ll be receiving money towards it from various family members but to be on the safe side we’re making sure to save the full amount ourselves in case anything happens.
Non-financial:
-Have at least 1 meat-free day a week. So far I’ve batch cooked this Golden Lentil recipe and have brought it in as a packed lunch 2 days in a row.
-Lose 12 kg (24,5lbs I think)
-Run a half marathon
-Complete one round of Kayla Itsines’ 12 weekchallenge
-Read one book per month
Let's do this!! :jMortgage Oct '20: £615k

Forgot to say I OP'd £115.57 in total last month and OP'd another £100 this week.
Tuesday was an nsd and I still have lots in the fridge/freezer/cupboards to go through so I don't envisage myself spending on food for a while.
Oh and I've already finished my January book (the tea planter's wife - so badly written but I enjoyed the plot) so that's at least one resolution I'm still on track withMortgage Oct '20: £615k
