It was very difficult for him for various reasons and I haven't pushed him about it but anyway it went today for £2500 which we really need to pay off some debts and get us through Christmas etc. We also need to sell the jeep we had to pull the caravan so there will be some more money to come from that too hopefully. I haven't really made much other money this month so I am definitely counting it!

Shame you've had to sell your caravan and jeep, but it must be a weight off your shoulders to be able to pay the debts and enjoy Christmas. You could maybe plan to save your monies from this challenge towards another one later on.


We lived in a caravan for four years - two in Southsea, Portsmouth and two in Holland, near and around the Ijsselmeer. We were contract painters and it was the easiest and cheapest solution.

Well done. I am always worried about gambling and hardly ever buy a ticket for anything. I do like the free ones though :rotfl:

Original plan for today was Christmas shopping but as it's Black Friday think it might be a tad busy in town!
