Letting subscribers roam automatically once they step off a plane with astronomic data tariffs, is tantamount to fraud. There will eventually be a big backlash against the dishonest players.0

It's a bit like going into a pub and ordering a pint and then being charged £1000 for it. On complaining the barman points to the tariff at the side of the bar and says "you should have checked the price".
Wonder how many of the sanctimonious "you should have checked the charges" crowd always check the price before ordering a round at the pub??0 -
hi, can someone help me please, i'm a vodafone contract user and was told the new euro travleller is the best way to go,can i just make sure that if i use this that i don't turn off the data roaming?
i think this is quite a good deal really as no charges for incoming texts or calls and i still get my free texts and calls if needed.have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -

The new o2 travel is pretty good:
Relax. From July 2012 you can use your mobile in Europe without worrying about huge bills. Talk for longer and use the web without worrying about over spending. Now you're in control.
How does O2 Travel work?
- You'll only be charged £1.99 for the days that you use data in Europe - and you can use up to 25MB a day.
- There's a connection charge of 50p for all calls made and received in Europe. When you make a call you'll be using your UK minutes and calls received are free up to 60 minutes.0 -

That's what I will be using when I go to Ireland soon, if you need more than 25Mb day you can text and pay £1.99 more for another 25MB0
