Mobile Roaming: Cheapest Calls When You're Abroad

I'm going to be going to Portugal shortly and was wondering what the cheapest method would be for using data and also receiving calls.

It's 4.9p/min to receive calls with Three.
IIRC they offer "EU Internet Pass" for £5/day.

EE offer unlimted calls for £2/day and 50Mb for £3.

I am sure you can find something cheaper, but this depends on your needs.

How much is additional data, as 50MB is definitely not enough ? - Is this available on a PAYG sim, as I'm not currently with EE.

50Mb is a daily bundle. You can buy as many as you want. No bundle, no data.

If that daily bundle sounds tempting, get an Orange Spain SIM instead, Mundo tariff, Go Europe add-on, 100 MB for €1 a day

Or look at local SIMs from Portuguese networks

The Spanish one sounds the cheapest I am going to get at €1 per day roaming I think
