Morning everyone

Hope DS is feeling a bit brighter this morning Bossy. Pigpen sending you laptop fixing vibes. Mumto5 have you tried echinacea? Other than that get as much rest as you can, mind you with your user name that might be a daft suggestion!!

Going out later with the boys so not much flying here, although I have admitted defeat and put the tumble drier on as its pouring down again. Will get some tea in the slow cooker before we go out. I did a bit more decluttering yesterday so I have a big bag of clothes and shoes to go to the CS.

Right, I need to get on!

DS loads better this morning, thanks all. Making up for lost time with food, haha

Thanks for the heads up, pigpen will definitely keep an eye on that. Hot tummy is quite a thing of his but I've never seen him as lazy as yesterday. He's asking to play mario kart now and wants to keep to our plans to go to a friends for lunch - because they've got guinea pigs, lol.

Just moved the parasols (why do I have 4?) out of the boiler cupboard so we're all ready for Mr BG.

Question, if my appointment is between 10 and 12 does that mean he'll arrive before 12 or he'll be gone before 12?

Right. I'm going to clean the downstairs loo. Not fit for visitors, lol.

Done it again, got two Thursdays.. It's okay I've changed it to Friday now Not sure what's wrong with me at the moment, head's all over the place. Feels like I have cotton wall for brains..

Not read back, but just to let you know that I haven't completely disappeared, just had an all out, every daylight hour I am at home, outside re-building the back garden, vegetable garden, greenhouse, etc. Now that there is going to be no daylight Monday to Friday when I am at home, I will need to be on here to do some serious flying.

Some days it seems that the only flying that has been done, hopefully, is to empty the dishwasher and washing machine.

Eck. DS gone all peculiar again. Stationed back on the sofa with a bucket, towels and a cup of water.

We went to my friends but left early, don't think he's up to birthday present shopping. Doh, also need to drop in DD prescription. My dad is coming this aft so if not too late I might see if he minds if I pop out.

Think I may need a babysitter so I can get DD to ballet tomorrow. Oh dear.

Anyway. Boiler sorted, was actually my neighbours son, lol. I wondered if it might be - I knew he was an engineer and worked locally. Haha. He didn't try to sell me anything and said its quite efficient for its age!

So this afternoon, I'm cuddling my boy, and I might go lift the garden furniture out since the sun is out! It's needs to air and dry off. Will check the forecast first though!

Then, DD room - it's a tip!!!

Got back from mums to find a messy house. Sure I didn't leave it this bad, but not sure it's possible for one man and a dog to make this much mess in a day and a half!
Children stationed in front of TV, going to see how much I can get done before six, including making tea. I'm off out for a curry tonight, so need between six and seven at least to make myself look human.

Been busy today and done most things I needed to get done. Am just going to have a cuppa and then wash the bathroom and kitchen floor - already cleared and swept!


Then I should make a start on the month's accounts, shuffle some monies, make a meal plan for next month and write shopping lists.


Easy dinner tonight - spag bol, garlic bread and some salad and then, I think, I shall luxuriate in a bubble bath with a naughty glass of wine

apples cooked last night then vinegar added as per instructions. left to drain in jelly bag overnight.

Was at a funeral this morning (former colleague who used to give me a lift) then a couple of errands then came back, measured out liquid and followed my pint of liquid/pound of sugar method (the recipe said measure a pint of liquid and just use that) added finely shredded chilli (I wear surgical gloves because I am incapable of not getting chilli in sensitive places if I don't take extra care) and have boiled (twice) for a set.

Normally, when I make jam I scrape the tester drop off the saucer and taste it.

Boy has it got a kick - one of those 'oh this is alright' then BOOM! tastes!

It looks pretty, too.

Valli sounds nice, I love a bit of chilli jam.

Have got a sicky headache, think there is something wrong with my contact lenses. Might take them out and give them a good clean. Probably shouldnt be on here as I feel like I am squinting!

Day out with the boys and some friends today, spent too much but at least DS has a winter coat now.

Not doing much tomorrow, few bits of shopping to do in the morning and might go to my parents village for their bonfire and fireworks tomorrow night.

Today I have sorted the CSA claim to fleece CF and force him to support the children he refuses to see or take responsibility for, growled at my solicitor, snarled at the courts and encouraged someone to declare themselves bankrupt.. good day in all truth lol.

1 item returned, sent in error, one ebeast parcel sent and DS3's PIP flung too.

I will become an organised person!!!
