BC account number

Probably a silly question
Is my barclaycard account number the long number on my card? I need to write down th details for all my creditors......I'm staring at my online statements and can't seem to find anything that would mean it was my account number.
Thing is I cut my card up and now can't find that number as the statements just give the last 4 numbers

Err, yes, the long 16 digit number across the middle, is your account number.


If you don't have a record of the card number anywhere, simply ring BC customer services, you will have to pass security, and ask them to confirm the number to you, either verbally over the phone, or in writing.


Or if you used your BC account online, and still have access that way, you can send them a secure message from your account.

If you pay your BC via direct debit you should be able to view the card number via online banking. The card number is the 16 digit ref on the barclaycard DD

Or if you have ever made a bill payment to Barclaycard from your bank account it would have been your reference number on the payee details.

Cheers everyone.....I resorted to that old game of "hunting through the rubbish bags" took a while but there were all the pieces.....quick game of jigsaw and I have the number ��
