They haven't mentioned having to sign on for another 12 months - in otder to benefit from the free calls package - where did you get that from ?

Terms apply, Subject to availability and ongoing relationship with TalkTalk. Find out more on 1st December.

One of the terms will be a new 12month contract as explained in my post # 400 to get you to stay.

So you say (and I can see why TT should try this) - but where's the actual evidence ?

Same here. I used 'chat' because I was not happy to pay online by card anyway. I was told I could phone or pay then and was asked for my card details. I refused, due to their lax security and asked why the direct debit could not be amended? No argument - it was instantly agreed and payment amended for this month. I obtained copy of conversation, just to be sure. All went through ok last week, for the discounted amount, so maybe you could try that if you normally pay by dd? (if you can find a time you can get though quickly!).

unless you have changed your card , what's the problem of giving it again, if they already had it.
I've just renewed my VLR by CC, and a new 18 month contract, on the phone, I may add, not online;.
Everyones getting all worked about something that's already happened.
Calm down dear, it's only an accident.

I hope you got the new 18 month contract either free or at a massive discount otherwise they`ve screwed you.;)
  • I want to leave TT but was told today that my contract is for 24months!

I have to wait till it ends or pay about £200 to cancel!

Its bad that they get attacked and customers wanting out have no options if locked into contracts.
What if I change my bank account can they still pursue me legally?
