They won't have sent the V5 off. They retain it until they sell the car and the new owner fillsin and signs the front page.
You will get the V5 back with the car.
I would suggest that you add the car to your current vehicle's policy as an additional vehicle for the maximum of 2 months, then sell it in Autrotrader. If WBAC offered you £6,800. Then it will be worth at least £8,000 in a private sale.
I sent off the yellow dealer section that they provided me with. Confirms that I have disposed of the vehicle in to the motor trade.
Trouble is, I need the cash quickly hence the decision to go to WBAC rather than a private sale.0 -
What evidence do you have of your claim? Do you have anything in writing (or a witness) of their acceptance of variance of their standard terms?
The guy in the branch i visited had to request a special code from a regional manager to input into his computer system that allowed him to bypass the 'short term ownership' hold that was on the screen.
This was done twice while I was there.
This in my view is them accepting a variance to the contract so they can no longer use that as a reason to reverse the deal.0 -

The fact it was done twice would suggest something was wrong at the time.0 -

No not really. The guy at the branch made a mistake while putting 'damage' details in so had to back out of the system. When he went back in he needed the code again but couldn't reach the original manager so rang another one for the code.0 -
If you believe you had a contract and they refuse to honour it, you're left with taking legal action.
That certainly won't get you the cash fastChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -

You are better off going to sell this via private means, Webuyanycar will always pay anyone below the going rate as they look at profits only here, You need to look at getting the car back and putting it up straight away or due to the value it has try an independent garage that deals in newer cars if it is a rush sale you require here.
As for weroballofourcustomers.con I'd say just make a complaint in writing about the time, costs and issue you have had here and say you want this put right asap, If they fail to do so then send back a new letter stating they have 7 days prior to legal action to resolve.0
