Thanks Helen!
Looking forward to travelling with you. I checked my EF balance today and it stands at £1763.54, which I'm surprised at and pleased with. I know I'll have a couple more legal bills to pay between now and Christmas, but I think I can manage that from my wages. If I can keep doing £300 per month as a standard on the 1st, then if I have anything left by next payday, I can move that over too. Just going to update my signature.

Thinking of joining you all but I need to sort out the maths first. Can't decide how much we need...
OK - ready to get on board. I'd like to save a total of £6000 in a fund not to be touched unless there's a crisis (hopefully there won't be one so we can spend it when we retire!). It will take a long time as we're also saving a sizable chunk to spend on the house.
Off to organise my online savings accounts...0 -
You are most Welcome indeed black cat ..... I sincerely hope that none of us have a crisis and that we can save it for our Retirement instead.....fingers crossed for all of us!!
And no worries on it taking a while....Mine will take Years to get to!! xXx

Welcome aboard to all our new folks
I've not been able to add to my total but I have started some new challenges to build up my funds!
The Sealed Pot Challenge No.9- I've two pots, one for 1, 2, and 5p coins and another for £2 coins; the make £10 a day November Challenge with a personal challenge of £20 a day as you can include expenses and overtime in it hoping I'll make that this month!
I've also started de-cluttering by taking some old trains and cars to a toy auction house- estimate £80-120 to be sold sometime hopefully before Christmas but likely to be the New Year!
Any funds will be split between paying off debt (the majority) and then into this and the £1K fund challenge :beer:CRV1963- Light bulb moment Sept 15- Planning the great escape- aka retirement!0
