I'm dropping in to say no worries to MKS. it was a pleasure and you helped me as much as I helped you :A

I've been missing because I finished my 25th blast of radiotherapy on Friday and I just wanted to get on with it. I start chemotherapy next week for a stem cell transplant.

I have also lost someone close to me this weekend very suddenly. They just died without me having any time to get used to it. But like David I have an honest tongue and can't believe what I read here when I do look in

'LOL.. The only reason "member lists" are posted because im in it. I dont know why people like to discredit me really.

I dont care if people know im in a group, infact I dont hide it. our group is nothing like a FB group. I help a lot of people on this forum.. people not even in the group.

    #Legend.. shame it ended.'

why do you all ignore this sort of ego? let's be nice, let's not argue, let's not challenge this sort of egotistical post.....

I have absolutely nothing to lose and I'm glad I made some friends who have supported me lately that don't bow down to this utter rubbish. if that's what you want the place to be about I wish you all well. I'm happy and I witnessed this today

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-34750361

it was humbling beyond belief. I'll get back in my box and not speak 'for the good of the thread'

    I'm doing a David. :p
    Hello Fairclaire,
Long time no see, I've been gone for a year and just came back a few days ago. I've been looking out for you and was really sad to read that you have been ill. Bloody cancer, it's not often I use the word hate, but I really do hate that illness.
I love your attitude to life, even when your down you get back up and kick !!!. I hope hubby is coping ok and that the kids are doing fine too.
    Take care, Rhona X
PS I don't know what else has been going on and am not reading back to find out, that's why I left a year ago. :o
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

it seems very unfair to me that the SA has to bear the brunt of the !!!! up that is now Asda APG policy. I was told the till wouldn't accept my APG so they must have been used already (they hadn't). I stood my ground and eventually got them accepted, but only after a supervisor override. The poor SA was deeply embarrassed by it all.
So does the new system mean it will be up to the SA to identify fraud and accuse the shopper? Not a task I would fancy.

I was told a week ago that the new system would eliminate the need for them to retain the APG, making it easier for the cash office.

    New system on self service
    Step 1
    Scan bottom barcode on apg
    Step 2
Type in TC number from receipt eg the long number you type into your computer to get the apg

New system on maned till is slightly different so I won't explain as staff get upset when you tell them how to do there job

My advise is just use step 1&2 on self service but this method I have used only on apg's under £10:cool:
Can you please share this with the Facebook group as I know a few have had problems today .
I've made it as simple as possible :)

    Evening all :D
FC sorry to read your news
AJ and Perky thanks for asking , been a bit of a day but ok, had ECG app at 12.15, all was ok, but the doctor said he wanted me to go hospital for more blood tests, get there about 1.30 , million and one blood tests, intravenous paracetamol , another ECG , Blood pressure was:eek::eek::eek: 183/104 (but blame asda for that, will come back to this)
Then had to have an x ray, told me its gastric(which i already knew!) make an appointment to see gp tomorrow:rotfl::rotfl: some hope! said i have 1 monday ,got home about 6, had some soup pain is there but not agony like it has been but that and hakf sandwich is todays intake.
Perky glad your feeling better x

Sorry to hear you are still suffering bubbs. DD2 was  at your BP. At least they are gradually ruling things out for you. I hope the pain keeps easing for you, have you been given anything like gaviscon to line your stomach before you eat?

When my girls were little I had D&V that damaged my stomach lining and could not eat without taking something similar to gaviscon first otherwise I was in agony. I had to cut out anything containing fat or was spicy or acidic for a while, lived on dried toast, plain rice etc for a few weeks. Lost loads of weight which was a bonus. :o

Hope you feel better soon. xx
