    Good morning all...

In recent years I've lost my aunt and my brother to cancer...both very quickly...but I've also had a few friends who are well after having an initial diagnosis.
I'm still very affected by the effects of it if that makes sense.

FC...You will carve your own path and I wish you strength to face your challenge x

Nanny...lets hope today goes well and you get your final piece of procedure done with good results.

Thank you to everyone yesterday for the christmas present suggestions...I now have a few firm favourites which I think I will be able to use for christmas/birthdays over the next couple of years...it always feels so much better when I have an idea what to buy my most difficult recipient.

Stay strong all...we are the elite and we look out for and after eachother.

Sorry Fairclaire, such difficult news for you. A friend's sister had the same and survived 22 years from diagnosis, some good years, some bad. I know treatment options are increasing all the time. I wish you well.

Further to our FREE trail of Candy Kittens sweeties, I emailed them about it showing I was being charged £10 and this was their reply today:

    Hi Susan,

We are experiencing a problem at our checkout and although it says you have paid £10, you have not!

    I hope this helps.

    Many thanks,

    Whitney

    That really tickled me!

We've just started our two dd's on the star wars films, with the hope of having watched them all so we can go and see the new release in the cinema for dd1's birthday which is new years eve.

Dd2 has stated that father Christmas will be bringing her some Chewbacca pyjamas!

I have this reserved at Argos too, but she can't sleep in onesies as she struggles to get them off to go to the toilet in the night.

I've already got the pink robot turtle she asked for so I think were good to go!
