Thanks Mhoc....I must admit I am all but given up on the sister/bil present...they have all the national trust.rhs memberships and TBH...I really did think I had hit a winner a couple of weeks ago as the Mail had an advert for lunch at Highgrove....a bit out of their way I thought but a good gift....only for her to drop it into conversation that acually they have been going for the past 5 years!

This year our family stockings are limited to £15 with no more than 6 pressies so I really am almost on top of that ....but the problem sister remains as she totally refuses to listen when I say "we dont need anything"....(so that kind of means I'd not like to have to find something for you)

How about a couple of cushions from the Gregor Linen collection. My daughter has bought me a couple and I also have the stag floor cushion which is gorgeous, too much for this occasion I know but the smaller cushions may be suitable.

Now I need to find a good deal on family history subscriptions.... I've decided as my Dad is due to retire shortly I'm going to get him a years subscription so he can start the research he's always wanted to do, plus it will keep him busy and out of my mothers way as she also retired 6 months ago but keeps herself busy going on coffee morning trips with her friend.

Stunning cushions Di...I think I love the chicken ones...somehow they remind me of VT's batik paintings that she knows I love....

cant see any prices but I've also seen some lovely vases too that sis might like......

    Another possible bookmarked website.

I love them all! I've got the highland coo cushions in the lounge from DD.
The flower cushions are gorgeous too but the wrong colours for my house unfortunately.
  • On the subject of presents....

    https://www.gettingpersonal.co.uk/gifts/personalised-wine-glass-good-day-bad-day-dont-ask.htm?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_feed&utm_campaign=froogle&gclid=CLKpoOHtg8kCFQgGwwodZrgDQQ

This is the web site some one posted a few months ago with the wobbly wine glasses etc..

I'm torn between the full bottle wine glass or the one that measures how good/bad your day has been for a very good friend of ours who likes a tipple now and again ;)
