Savvybuyer wrote: »Well that's just not on. The promotion on the website of last night, which said 6th November, has now turned out to be misleading and placed in breach of the Advertising Standards Authority codes. IMO. Did it contain a disclaimer saying the offer could be withdrawn early? If not, well...
As per COS general t&c's 'Each offer ends on the date listed, and we reserve the right to terminate offers at any time.'There comes a time in every woman's life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne ... Bette Davis0 -

and what time will you be able to check your soup apg please
I install the crankshaft inside the engine. You would not believe the high quality control that goes on.
I'm hoping apg is checkable after 2 hrs at 11 pm ish0 -
I would have welcomed 10 hours. I don't do short labours my shortest was DD2 only 12 hours. Both the others were well over 24 hours and with DD3 she was starting to get distressed so I was next in line for C-section but with those words another couple of hours and she was out. Good job there was someone just a little bit more urgent than us.

As per COS general t&c's 'Each offer ends on the date listed, and we reserve the right to terminate offers at any time.'
Well, "reserving the right" is not an excuse to breach (IMO) ASA Codes or to promote end dates that then become misleading. If it is that that is what they have done. Especially when the last part of that T&C conflicts with the first part, which, untruthfully it now appears, claims that offers end on the date listed. These ones did not. It seems.0 -
