Evening Elite :j
Happy at the improvement in your Dad Snap, but I can confirm that the sort of things you are talking about happen all the time, going from my experience when Mam was in hospital and then end-of-life unit. We just had to make arrangements for one of us to be there to feed her, always. And those who didn't have any visitors .............Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

or get in sainsbug and possibly morry for £24
or on a target shop at asda for £21.60
you better hand in your elite badge
Bloomin heck:eek:To be fair, she WAS talking about doing an SvA targetted shop to use a £30 conditional spend
But I'm guessing she didn't know the S price has since dropped to £3 because she was talking about an even number comparing £9v£7 per pair
She could have saved on getting any fillers and just got 10 packs for £30 and then used her £4.50 (I think) conditional spend. :rotfl:
10 packs for £25.50 wouldn't have been too shabby :money:
Thanks for trying to come to my defence aau:rotfl:

Evening peeps
just popping in to tell you I have just been swimming...well sort of . More floundering really.
I used to be able to swim before the disc probs but hey ho, I should be swimming again in a few weeks ( I hope).
The reason for me mentioning it is because my local authority has a scheme for free swimming that has been extended to over 40s. They said it is a government initiative so might be worth checking with your council.
It used to be over 60s only but on a wednesday anyone over 40 can swim in any local pool at any time. It was quite nice floundering about with dd2 who helped me nearly drown and the new swimsuits were a scream as I had ordered half a dozen but not had time to try them so did the deed in the changing rooms. Hope this helps wsomeone else to get wet too xxx0 -

And returning to the vexed discussion on Sainsburys basic items from earlier on.
On Sainsburys mycoupons today my offers include buy 3 cans do bad ic peach slices get 40 nectar points - these seem to be 35p in Sainsburys and everywhere else - so £1.05 for 40 nectar - not too bad and I can use them in smoothies
Also buy 2 sets of basic fromage frais and get 40 nectar. These are 50p each - I think these are cheaper elsewhere but the nectar bonus makes it worthwhile - and these will go with the canned peachesSavvybuyer wrote: »This is probably going to turn into a sequence now:rotfl:.
A simple item.
Sainsbury's Basics Rice Pudding (400g)
30p 7.5p / 100g
15p
15p
15p
And, for the record, there is actually one slightly different weight elsewhere so we should reflect that. T's rice pudding can is slightly larger, so S is actually more than twice the cost of T.
If you buy "value" range rice pudding from S, you are paying at least twice the cost of T, A and M (unless you get some Nectar points beyond what is normal, but then you are still paying twice the cost in order to get those points, so I think we'll ignore my devious point in parentheses again).“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Amazing cake PD :T:T
Good evening everyone
Confirmation that if you buy the 25% wine offer in S if you add a bottle of port or any other single more expensive bottle of wine it takes 25% off that also.
I bought 6 red & 1 Dow's Port & 25% came of all 7 bottles :j:beer: Thanks to emribena hukd
I managed to use £3 0ff £20 spend moc even though it said not to be used against wine offer. :T:T
All above works online & in store.
I also got 20p items S tomato relish, Haywards sweet pickled onions & Tobasco with cola marinade.
Also, jumbo raisins & cranberries snack size 35g 10p. I would never pay 60p for them.0
