    Thanks

I probably wont go back out. Its pitch black with rain thundering down
I am not normally affected by the weather but i was disappointed that it was almost dark and not even 4pm this afternoon

For once I got all my shopping done in daylight today. ;)

Although was not a good move to pull up outside of house just seconds before Mr TS got in from work. :o

First thing he did was check the boot and shake his head. :rotfl:

I bought 24 jars of the mustard and still left loads on the shelf. :o

I don't think he saw the 12 jars of red cabbage.....

Was only one jar of silverskin left in my town centre store when I got some scanned from clearance shelf in other, they were slightly different think sweet onions they were still £1.85.

I do still actually have 5 jars left from the last round when the pickled onions were reduced. And have given quite a few Dodo. Hope she likes red cabbage. :rotfl:

    Amazing cake PD :T:T

    Good evening everyone

Confirmation that if you buy the 25% wine offer in S if you add a bottle of port or any other single more expensive bottle of wine it takes 25% off that also.

    I bought 6 red & 1 Dow's Port & 25% came of all 7 bottles :j:beer: Thanks to emribena hukd

I managed to use £3 0ff £20 spend moc even though it said not to be used against wine offer. :T:T

All above works online & in store.

I also got 20p items S tomato relish, Haywards sweet pickled onions & Tobasco with cola marinade.

Also, jumbo raisins & cranberries snack size 35g 10p. I would never pay 60p for them.

Bloomin heck they were the exact onions I got scanned in the 2nd store.

The Tabasco sounds interesting didn't notice that in mine.

Thanks for confirming you can buy 6 or more and not in multiples of 6 I wasn't sure when I bought 6 bottles of shiraz earlier whether to add the Dow's port that was reduced to £6 odd. Would have been a proper bargain under a fiver. :money:

Good morning Snap nice to hear Dad is a little brighter ...I can get where you are coming from re the cutting up of food as this is one beef my Sis has .Her DH was rushed into hospital last week for a blood transfusion ..she went up to visit and they had put a pkt sandwich and a yogurt on his table and Nurse wondered why he had not touched it.He is a stroke victim with no speech and no use in his right side:eek: that's why:(
When I was in hospital the protocol was that meals were put on a red tray if people needed help to eat... that said those packet sandwiches and yogurt are impossible to open at the best of times, particularly with drips etc.. add in some sort of paralysis following a stroke... as you say :eek::eek:
Lady opposite me could feed herself , if it was in a heavy dish or plate that she didn't have to hold with her hand that didn't work too well.. she would take her tablets, with a yogurt, but needed the yogurt putting in a bowl... she was a nice old gal, but I got so sick of having to explain this on her behalf 4 times a day..

Delivered with the post today. Nearly missed it as it was amidst a load of leaflets. I thought it was a Nisi one

:mad::mad::mad: I thought the role of a nurse was to nurse

What happens to young children who also cannot feed themselves?

Will everyone who cannot feed them selves, who has no relatives or friends just starve to death?:eek::eek:

I need some explanation of this before I start a crusade :o
I've had the misfortune to be quite poorly in hospital in Spain where there is an expectoration that family feed you and provide your drinks! I was fortunate enough that the daughter of the lady in the room with me would pass me a cup of water every so often until DH flew out!
