Pleased to hear all the bits are healthy mhoc
Dental check up was fine this morning, no treatment required. Mammogram results letter came today - all good there too. What a difference a day makes.
Has anyone heard from fairclaire lately? It's been a little while now since she last posted.0 -

:mad::mad::mad: I thought the role of a nurse was to nurse
What happens to young children who also cannot feed themselves?
Will everyone who cannot feed them selves, who has no relatives or friends just starve to death?:eek::eek:
I need some explanation of this before I start a crusade
This happens such a lot Snap and it makes me   when my mum collapsed in the street about 6 years ago now, she was taken by ambulance to hospital
They decided to keep her in. I went to visit one afternoon and on her table over her bed was a tray still loaded with plates covered. When I looked under the lids the food was all there.
The staff fave the excuse that mum had said she had eaten enough earlier and didn't want it.
Did the staff really need me to point out that due to dementia she didn't know if she had eaten or not. In fact at this stage if her life she didn't know what a knife, fork or spoon was for.
Hospitals say they don't gave the staff to go round, one to one. What happened to the days when the WRVS or similar. They used to sit with such patients and feed them.
I know it's not the fault of the staff its to do with the funding and having to care for many more people than they used to.
Must go and cool off, I've woken up somewhat :mad:There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

Not heard from fairclaire.
fairclaire not been around since the 17th - probably does not know we moved house abruptly
Did she run away to Scotland and not come back?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
My own M price collection done early today (due to people wanting costly meals out tonight no doubt!). Well, not early - but around lunchtime (a little earlier than usual). My full price collection results however... to take longer:(.
And.... what could they have changed?
Part of the answer, sadly, is that M are becoming a little like Sains:( (although nowhere near the same scale as Sains at the moment). No sooner do I mention this:
Morrisons Savers Toothbrush (2)[Strike]18p[/Strike]
and put it onto the 'buy in M' list - in order to attempt to be fair and have the T product on 'buy in T' as same price - then this happens:mad:. Yes, that is a crossed out 18p above:(.
Morrisons Savers Toothbrush (2)
21p:( 10.5p / Toothbrush
18p
25p
---
The "Savers" Maxi Towels - which only M has now, after A appears to have put up the cost of our shopping by no longer stocking an equivalent:mad::( - have also increased: from 14p to 20p:eek::(:p.
The "Savers" Pantyliners have gone up from 22p to 25p, so really buy those Basics in Sains if you have an extra Nectar points offer, if it is of enough extra points, and if the offer can be used against Sains Basics, otherwise buy T Eday Value at 22p (I think A S/P 22p are out of stock?).
The Dates have increased in price - from £1.49 to £1.62:eek: - so it appears to be 'last chance' on those. They'll still be cheaper than A - if the comp. updates next time correctly - but, obviously, not as good as what they were:
ASDA Good & Balanced Pitted Dried Dates (500g)
£1.89 37.8p / 100g
£1.62:(
£3.25:eek:
---
The 500g Parsnips packs in M have also gone up from 50p to 74p.
The Gammons are going to £7, although I still have older stock available at £4. (In fact, from my second store it looks more favourable - in the sense that there are no £7 ones there at all, only £4 - but also my stores are more confused over them.) This is the reverse of the situation when fresh produce is going down in price in M but there is still some older stock around at the old price. Unfortunately there, the APG has tended not to pick up the lower price on the next update but to continue with the higher price until a second update is done. If it does the same here, though, it may play in our favour - in the sense of merely extending the comp. on the Gammons for a little longer.
If they only have the older stock, then they may get £4 price. If they have newer stock at £7 as well, then they 'should' still pick the lower of the two prices (i.e. £4) - however they 'should' do the same when they have higher price and new lower price stock, yet have continued with the higher price - for the example when the Broccoli first went to 42p in M a few weeks ago (maybe they only had the higher price stock available and none of the newer priced ones yet).
It's possible that one of the Gammons may continue to work but one may not. I have new £7:( Smoked Gammon in my first store, but the Unsmoked Gammons I only have £4 ones:). However, this means absolutely nothing. I would certainly say both are going to be a risk after the update from this price collection (their parallel one, not mine). Someone may continue to buy them and, at some point quite soon, have a fail. Or they may be bought and continue to compare to £4 on the new collection and then will continue to work all the way through to at least Tuesday:D:D (although not necessarily the whole of Tuesday itself).
The Gammons will work at the moment but, in short, we don't know whether or not they will continue to work much longer. Sorry not to be able to be specific on that.
The above is the changes that may be 'last chance' on the APG. That's what you need to know. Also - don't buy the 1Kg frozen mushy peas in A just yet, as they are going down in M from £1 to 77p. (In fact, they've already gone down, of course, but you'd need to wait for the new price data on the APG before, hopefully, they compare to that. Unless they pick up the wrong mushy peas and compare to £1.13:eek::rotfl:. To be fair, they shouldn't do that though, because the £1.13 are clearly 600g and are a 4 pack - but, as we know, anything can happen.)
The Pringles 190g (not yet:D) are £1 in M but they seem no good for any glitch for us at present at useless £1 in A online:(.
Regarding the 1Kg carrots, these have not being comparing to M's 45p price on the last collection or the one before that - I don't know whether they are comparing on the current collection - however, there are now 1Kg M Savers Carrots packs at 35p in M. Don't make a special trip however as they are certainly not available in all M stores. (I'm excluding the Locals in any event - we don't concern ourselves with the prices in Locals or visit any of those for these purposes. I very much indeed doubt there will be any of these cheaper carrots in a Local store - especially given that the 'main' ones - the bigger stores - don't all appear to have them.)
Also it looks like the Carrots in the Savers packs are bigger carrots, so that you will find fewer carrots in the packs - they are still 1Kg - meaning that, if you use each carrot as a carrot, you will get through them quicker if you are simply consuming bigger carrots and thus it would be, in that case, more efficient to stick with the 'standard range' ones. And preferably in M (or maybe Aldi, not sure what their price now is?) as long as the APG continues not to compare on its more expensive (than M) carrots:rotfl:. But, if you chop your carrots up and only use the same amount, then M Savers would appear to beat even A Carrots 1Kg (assuming it ever started to compare). As long as your M has stock of the Savers ones:(.
That's it for now - except I have another correction to make:o:o, soon:rotfl: - don't expect the list on this thread to change on anything else as I won't be getting to it until much later (we're only just onto this list, hopefully, in any event).0 -
If these items were picked up on the Monday instore price collection then it might not filter through to the APG until the Wednesday lunchtime update
Your results might have been different on a later c+c .....but then again they might not :rotfl:
It did cross my mind in the middle of the night that I might have jumped the gun and should have waited a day or two - but the return on the toothbrush was excellent so it was still a lucrative shop.ELITE 5:2
