if they want to issue speculative invoices based on perceived rule breaking that is wholly based on the on-site signage, then the RK is entitled to know what those signs say as they are crucial to any so called contract and as the RK is entitled to gather evidence to defend themselves at popla or in court , so they can and will get the evidence needed to defend themselves at popla or in court

so if this pompous @ss at the hospital wants to have his parking contractors issue such paperwork then he or she hasnt got much choice if people wish to take pictures of the signage that they are alleged to have broken

or they can cancel the charges and so stop people from taking pictures of the signage

remind this fool that Jeremey Hunt said that trusts are liable for the actions of their contractors in his 2014 guidelines and so they are jointly and severally liable

if they cannot stand the heat, they shouldnt allow their contractors to set the kitchen on fire
  • Are the vehicles registered in your company's name?

Civil Enforcement Ltd are BPA AOS members so ignore the IPC/IAS reference(s).

It's the last couple of paragraphs that are important i.e "body corporate".

I'm no expert so regulars will probably comment further.

Edited to add: I meant to say include Edna Basher's advice as well the usual appeal points

Your company should speak to whoever at the trust engaged you to do the construction work and tell them that every charge from the PPC will be treated as a chargeable variation to the contract and will attract the same overhead as the other administration amounts on the contract unless they sort things out.

Does your company have a press department? a nice little story in the paper about how hospital workers who are trying to improve the facilities are being persecuted by agents of the Hospital, Civil Enforcement, for whose actions the Hospital as principal are liable for. you could also mention that Civil Enforcement are also under a criminal investigation in Scotland/Aberdeen for operating a fraudulent scheme - namely that of issuing parking charge notices
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

I would love to support this, but the conventions of works contracts are that you can get as mean as you like behind closed doors, but you don't embarrass the client or the principal client in public.

Yeah, taking your employer to the press will seriously hurt your ability to find work. Construction is still very much an "old boys network".

If it is private land, cover reg plates on the land with black bags and remove on the boundary.
I do Contracts, all day every day.
