    any ideas.

im guessing minium and maximum 3 star

i dont trust 2 star an 4 star is expensive.

5 people are going , its going to be 2 rooms, so 3 bed and a 2 bed.

any help in booking.i have booked the flight separately but i have no idea how to book hotels.
    the cheaper the better lol.

but location wise is tricky as well
as ill be arriving to jfk and leaving from newark hospital.

can anyone wiht previosu experience provide any info at all
  • ooh, hospital? do you mean airport?

    Try these:

    Wellington
    Lexington
    Edison
    New Yorker

all in Manhattan in good positions, if you have any guide books, look for midtown Manhattan Hotels.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!

I'm off to NY at the end of this month - had booked into Carter Hotel - which has varying reviews on Trip Advisor - and was nervous! but last night booked 3 nights in Ramada New Yorker - found it cheaper immediately on Expedia - sent off the claim for free night and .... bish bash bosh - first night (the most expensive) FREE - thereby reducing the cost to 549$ for 3 nights.....(see other thread re free hotels - it's still available in USA & Canada.

this thread is turning into a huge oxymoron..

i want something really really cheap, but really really nice..

you get what you pay for.. its always the same...

you don't by tesco value baked beans, and assume they are the same quality as heinz..

£75 a night is cheap for new york... don't believe star ratings, they don't mean a thing IMO... use trip advisor, search this and previous threads, and if all else fails, grit your teeth and hope you've picked a good hotel..

my recommendation, as always is the Cosmopolital Hotel, booked through Hotel Conxions... however it does work out at around £90 a night probably..
