OMG.. not seat back entertainment on a flight.. what am i going to do...
yes.. staff shouldn't be rude, but delta from my POV, give a nicer service (multiple drinks trolley runs) when compared to air france (one after the meal, and nothing else!) but it is a personal choice..
I'd rather fly Delta anyday, (direct from manchester) than air france (change at CDG) or british airways (change at LHR)....
I'd rather fly Virgin - nice goody bags, person screenback entertainment. I'm visually impaired and can not see the screens that they have in the aisles.0 -

i flew with delta last month and can recommend them, btw my flight did have person screenback entertainment and air cabin staff were fine, a little aloof but certainly not rude...

Hi everyone...again!:o
We've just been reading about putting a personal message in lights on Hersey's notice board outside the shop as a surprise for our son's 18th. It costs $5 and will stay for 15 mins. Has anyone done this before? We've tried to find how to book, but nothing seems to be on the site about it. Tips please...
Only 6 days to go....:j :j AND on the Sunday SNOW is forecast for a while - so happy, just can't wait!!:T
(makes up for the dreadful dollar exchange rate...)0 -

i can't see the detail on the movies on the seat backs anyway... my laptop / iphone is much better, and i get to choose exactly what movie i want to watch..
each to their own.. a goody bag.. woo... but only 29" pitch... aaah.. i can't even fit in that seat..
again, US airways or delta - 32" pitch... yay! i can fit! i can go on holiday!

Just been watching CNN Business Traveller where there was a short clip about New York's tourist trade which looked interesting (not to mention tasty ):

I am thinking of booking the Embassy Suites for a trip to NY in feb or april, as recommended on this thread - hotel sounds great. I wonder if someone who has been there knows the answer to this one - we will be going with our two grown-up daughters and I am not sure whether to book the king suite or the one with the 2 double beds -would 2 people be able to sleep on the sofa bed in the king suite?0

The plane smelled of urine (I was sat near the toilets), I had no choice of meal, and the staff weren't friendly. No personal screen entertainment. Couldn't check in online. I tried to find out repeatedly how much baggage allowance I was allowed, and the site kept crashing.
In any case, there's no need for staff to be rude to customers.
ronaldo, yes, you just go to the actual theatres. Although to be honest, if you're not really into musicals or theatre, or you live in a big city in the UK, I don't see the point of spending loads of dollars to go in New York. A show's a show wherever you go. And I'm speaking as someone who loves theatre.
I am about to book flights to NY from Manchester on Delta as these are the cheapest. Are they really this bad?? from the website it looks as if you get your own telly on the seat back and that you can book online?? HELP0
