However I did not receive this email at all, the screenshot they showed me wasn't of the actual email reply they claim they sent, just a copy of the account they hold on me where it says 'emailed to milliemonster@coldmail.co.uk on 5th nov @ x time'.
Anyway, I have the popla code now so will have to appeal to them later this week
You need to complain about that fake email. If you had not contacted them, they would have let you stew then the POPLA code would have expired. That's sharp practice. Complain to the BPA.
You should have a POPLA code you can use up until 3rd December, so read the NEWBIES thread post #3 for a couple of recent POPLA examples and show us your draft. We'll help. If you did not say who was driving in the appeal, then your first POPLA appeal point is obvious.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks, yes I, quite mad about it, it's clear that it's fake as the screenshot doesn't even show a copy of their 'sent' email to me so I don't see it as proper proof, I have been through all my email folders and deleted items and it definitely hasn't appeared in any of my folders, I wouldn't have missed it as I've been looking out for a reply.
I'm going to put the appeal together this weekend,
I really appreciate all your help on this. Thank youAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Hi again, further update, I made my popla appeal on 2nd December, when I check the popla site it is telling me that it is in progress and they are waiting for information from legion group.
However, today I have had a letter from debt recovery plus, legion group have forwarded the debt to them Which has now increased to £149 and they are demanding payment by 28th December, they mention the court case landmark decision on 4th November. They say if I do not pay by 28th November they recommend to legion group that they take me to court to recover what is owed

You can safely ignore any/all letters from DRP0

Really? I had a bit of a panic to be honest, can you explain further?, I'm annoyed that legion group haven't sent any evidence to popla yet supporting their case against me and the appeal has been open since 2nd December and instead they have gone straight to debt recoveryAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Aiui, they are not supposed to increase the charge while an appeal is in progress is that correct? It says that on DRPs FAQs yet my charge has increased from £30 when I made the appeal to now £149, can anyone tell me what will happen next?Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Debt collectors can be safely ignored because apart from pestering you they have no powers to do anything.milliemonster wrote: »Really? I had a bit of a panic to be honest, can you explain further?,
Never engage with them in any way - that just lets them know that you are a possibility to pay them and will step up their pestering.0

You complain to the BPA that the PPC has continued to process and chase the charge (and even increase it) while your POPLA appeal is in progress, which is in breach of the BPA's terms and conditions, and you'd like the BPA to investigate this breach.Je Suis Cecil.0

 Help!
Did you complain to the BPA about their earlier dodgyness ?
If not they've now iced the cake
 s.clark@britishparking.co.uk
Bullet points your earlier individual complaints, add another two
 1. legion has passed the matter to debt recovery whilst a POPLA adjudication is still pending .
 2. If the NtK from Legion mentioned they were utilising the provisions of POFA then ask Mr Clark if it is acceptable , when data has been requested from the DVLA for the purposes of invoking keeper liability using POFA , to start adding "debt recovery fees" when POFA limits by statute the amount that can be recovered from the keeper to the original parking charge .
Please do this , not enough OP's raise complaints
