    Did you refer them to the OFCOM porting page?
    Once your new provider has your PAC and notifies your existing provider of the port request, your number will normally be transferred the next working day.

    I enclosed a printout of that page with that exact phrase highlighted ;-) I mean I happily gave them two extra working days leeway and would grudgingly allow them all 5 if they told me why they needed so long. But every time I tried to ask they just told me "That's how long it takes."

    SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    OK no word yet, but porting half done. My caller ID is my new number but ringing in still routes to Sainsburys. The split porting issue does seem par for the course.
