  • Yup, the last update:

Both ports now successfully completed - seems that EE finish porting @16:00hrs but Vodaphone finish their porting @ 18:00hrs. :D
To sum up so far, v/good service/knowledge/ease-of-contact from The People's Operator. :money:

(why) is the wonderful Ofcom not enforcing it
Unfortunately, like many of the regulatory bodies in the UK - Ofgem; ofsted; etc. etc. - Ofcom seem feeble and tbh next-to-useless.

    Fantastic!

Governments dont want us educated enough in our rights, much better we be sheep and politicians hold shares in the licenced or authorised companies they award contracts or licences too.

Its the same the world over, its elite corruption without physical violence or threat of and only financial and mental abuse to the taxpayer so its seemingly acceptable

Wish more sheep would stop and think they are lambs guided by mutton dressed as lamb ;)
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

I'm trying to port from Sainsburys now, but my new operator says "It takes up to five working days." How long should it take?

I moved from Sainsbury's to Talkmobile last week (both are on the Vodafone network). They said that it would take 24 hours to port my number across. In fact it took 48 hours.

Log a complain with Ofcom, Ofcom 5 day period was long ago, not since 2011. COOP are not adhering to the current regulator requirements. 5 days :rotfl: FOOLS!

How do you complain to Ofcom? Without spending a fortune on calling fees. They don't exactly make it prominent.

I realise that they don't want people to complain based on false assumptions and want to make sure people have the right impression first, but still it's hard to find.

They are a regulatory body - as I said before; "feeble and tbh next-to-useless".

    Go here:

    and use the online system.
Just don't expect too much. ;)

OK. Update- porting due to complete Monday- 5 working days after I submitted the PAC code.

Have logged a complaint with OfCom and written to the Phone Coop to complain. Not so much that they are being slow, but that they are claiming they're not and things like the "next day transfer" don't exist.
