This is defo the case, it all seems to be low value/tacky stuff this year so far (i'm hoping there are better prizes to come starting from the 12th). On the plus side, i get through the advents quite quick nowadays last year it seemingly took hours to enter all the ones i wanted to enter so maybe the quality of prizes is reflecting in my time entering . But, ive won 3 prizes so far so cant really grumble, i just hope theres a biggie around the corner!

Let's call a spade a spade here...90% of the prizes so far have been absolute sh**e, definitely not worth us getting ourselves hyped up about for the previous month.

Too many % off offers/recipes and too many closed for the weekend.

The amount of companies calling them advents when all they contain are offers..

Somehow the first point I've thought to post in here, but thank you sleepyjones! How you coped on the first day of December I do not know, but you are a wizard for doing so :eek: :eek::eek:

I think there does seem to be more this year however many are now on facebook. I don't normally bother with Like & Share but have done a couple of local ones.

What is really annoying when it is like and share or comment unless you are really organised and keep a note of every single one you enter it is nigh on impossible to find a winner on many of them.

Some companies do a separate post, some answer the winners reply and some I have seen no winners at all yet. However I am not prepared to trail through 9k+ comments to see if they have announced a winner. I wish they would be clearer with their terms.

I know there are the FB groups for winners and think I am in 4 different groups but I wonder if every single winner announcement is posted in these group pages?

If you go into your activity log via the downward arrow in the top right corner it will show you all of the posts you have commented on. I just go to each page the next day to double check if I haven't seen the winner announced anywhere. No bookmarking or list making required

Thanks Yes I do this occasionally but feel there have been so many that I have just commented on these last couple of weeks. Quite often as well they don't announce a winner until 2 or 3 weeks after the original post. Sometimes as well the winning announcement is lost amongst the tens of thousands of comments.
