I totally agree about the cracker jokes etc. I just shut one comp down today without entering because I could not be bothered telling my favourite Christmas song again, lol. Good idea about the copy and paste though

Has anyone seen any winner from the daily advent comp?

Also they had a Black Friday comp where they said the winner would be announced on 7th December but again I cannot see any post announcing the winners.

I did put a post on their page yesterday and also asked for T&Cs of their daily advent but they have not replied.

If its the advent comp on FB they post under the winners comment.


If you change from "top comments" to "most recent" it should show on this one (and the same for the other days - always handy when try to track winner announcements down as they are usually the most recent posts)

Thanks, I have looked at a few days but cannot see any. Really annoying though when there are thousands of comments.

Thing is I have had replies to comments in a post before and not had any FB notifications or emails despite my account being set up to receive these?

I think I have 'advent comp fatigue', what with 'normal' comps and daily comps as well, it seems a bit relentless. I haven't touched any CTWs at all in the last week.

In fairness it is my first year of doing them so religiously, I'm clearly not as well trained as the seasoned professionals :rotfl:

On the plus side I have had an advent win, a jelly belly hamper :j

Not won anything yet either, but I've found it very hit and miss.

Last year I didn't win anything from the advents, so this year I'm entering a wider selection, but honestly a lot of the prizes on offer don't interest me nor do I have any use for.

A few years ago I was entering my preferred advents every day, now it's generally 2 out of every 5.
