If it's not MSE then it's people playing around with the spam button (or one person with multiple accounts).

Does the spam button delete then? I thought it just sent a message to the forum people? Maybe people are hitting spam by mistake then if that's the case? This didn't happen last year though. I wonder if it is a new forum issue, i'm still using the old green one, is the spam button easy to hit on the new forum perhaps?

If it is accidentally clicked then clicking again undoes it.

If enough forum users click the spam button on a thread, that thread will automatically be deleted. The Forum Team may choose to leave it deleted or re-instate it.

I suspect the problem is that the thread that was put into the Advents was a dupe and has now been merged with the original. The link in Advents needs to be updated or perhaps just deleted as it doesn't really seem to be an advent style comp.

Anyone else having problems with the Crabbies spin advent, everyday it tells me I've already played. Not been able to spin it for three days now.

Hey guys. I posted the stylist advent on december 1st, but now realise it doesn't run at weekends so won't finish til 19th, rather than 12th. I tried to edit the titile, but it won't let me. Can a date/title be changed once posted?

Have you clicked on advanced edit? That's the only way to change a title. If you have and it won't let you, although it should, then you will need to pm Glad

Updated that end date in the advents thread for Stylist.

Updated the link for Friday Ads (it was linked to a dupe post which was removed when the 2 posts were merged).

The Simple lighting advent was removed because some idiots pushed the "Spam" button, the admins can't re-instate it for legal reasons and I can't post it because someone at Simple Lighting PM'd me and asked me to re-add it (so, there's the advertising / promotion thing stopping me from re-adding) ... but if anyone wants to re-add it, then go ahead.

Dunno what happened to Jaeger, I'm assuming it's also down to overzealous usage of the Spam button for whatever reason.
