hi yeh they are offering the reduced 60 pounds again. Before it would have been 100 pounds, as appeal was sent after reduced amount period.

Il post the reply tomorrow and im guessing il have to start a new thread

Nooooooooooooooooo!! DO NOT start a new thread. For the reasons waamo said, don't do that please.

Please reply on this one and what we want to see from you really, is your draft POPLA appeal like I have just explained to 'mistakehappens' on their thread as they are at the same stage.

Forget the discount. That's only for idiots who think they want to pay and it isn't a 'generous' discount @mistakehappens, by the way! Zero is what we want you to pay. Read up on how to win a POPLA appeal, as I already explained to the other poster. Show us your draft, you have 28 days from the rejection letter so there plenty of time to read, learn and put a masterpiece together based on cribbing good appeal points from posts by Newbies like you who have been there, done that and won already.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thank you very much couponmad, :)

I will post pics of the rejection letter as I do feel it was quite well worded but again I dont want to pay but they did cover the points mentioned. including Beavis case. I will do as you said and try get the appeal letter put together. They have also sent me 2 additional photos to the original NTK but again rubbish pictures.

Lastly they sent the rejection letter last week and it arrived 5 days later. Im not happy about this as I think thats a bit too long for delivery... they are trying to be cheeky. Could I use this point in the appeal? Thanks.

They are not trying to be cheeky, they just are a bunch of chancers, it's what this entire industry is like. It's likely all their mail is held up, so did the Notice to Keeper arrive by day 15?

Dark unlit signs will be an important appeal point. And no keeper liability, no landowner authority, no GPEOL, the UTCCRs, Aziz Test and Beavis case.

Also, whats everyone opinion about PD's reply? After reading it I thought the RK should pay but from your replies, they will now fight it nonetheless.

Really? We NEVER tell people to pay so that's astonishing that paying even crossed your mind! Even if the NTK arrived in time it's not compliant of course, they never are (a simple comparison with Schedule 4 bullet points is needed and no, it is not about whether they have identified the creditor).

What can I say, the RK saw the reply and thought that it was so well written and answered the points :(

Anyway, what is your opinion on their reply? Thanks again CouponMad.
