More from Pranky on this whole sorry saga, brought about entirely by the BPA. Driving up standards - as ever!

It's certainly an interesting approach, and is more in line with my thinking.
I have felt there must be a more proactive approach to this situation. I'm fed up with being bumped about by these numpties but there didn't seem to be a way through the 'murk'.
I expect a lot of motorist are just happy they have not had to pay up yet but I want this mess sorted. I have other issues with the PPC and would love to get them into court.0 -

But to be fair to the journalist, I believe it's the sub-editors who insert the captions and the pictures.
I did, however, threaten them with a slow and painful death if they used the word 'fines' in the headlines, and at least they've taken notice of that.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -

This solution may suit those that are happy with just a cancellation of the invoice, but doesn't give any compensation route for the more 'hard done by' cases.
I'm trying to clear an image in my head from Mr D's earlier post, of him trotting down Oxford Rd on Dobbin tomorrow, in a state of excitement.
It's also my 49th wedding anniversary today. What a year that was, we won the world cup and I got a life sentence.
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year and an end of the PPC scam.0 -

Alternatively he might be in warmer climes at his Benidorm condoPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

This thread is being superceded by another one '3500 appeals will not be fully heard'.
I would suggest anyone interested in knowing what is happening to their appeals should now post on that one.
I don't think it would be relevant to merge the two and this thread should be left open for the time being.0 -
So, what are we advising the 4,000 to do? My advice would be to do nothing unless and until you are taken to court when you ask for a strike out on the basis that the case has not been properly adjudicated. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
