Just woken up to rain so have popped the towels in the TD, also the MF cloths. Apparently we will have rain all week!
And I have made a coffee and come back to bed!
It's foul and I don't have to get up! Bliss!
My bit of everything will be work prep but I do need a card for my friend whose birthday is the 31st so no rush.
Kitchen is clean and I did the top oven and put the racking in the DW
Welcome Auldbint. Don't burn out by trying to do it all in one day! Little and often - as rooms come back round you'll find you get on top of it!
I am getting rid of a bag of soft toys, a former pupil is fundraising to go to Borneo and wants them, I couldn't sell them art the car boot and don't want them for the tabletop sale on Saturday so *fling* they're history!
Spare time this week will be spent sorting and pricing.

Hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons as needed
    Welcome to the new flyers
Miserable and rainy here, just bought some damp washing in so need to put that on the rack to dry.
    Plan to iron this morning.
I'm also writing lists, things to do at half term, I'm playing the mins game on the kondoing thread so am making lists of what's going on that. Had another session with Dh at mils on Saturday, lawn mowed, another load of stuff from the garage taken to the tip. Finished knitting baby cardi for neighbour and got it sewn up.
Busy day tomorrow so want to get as much as possible done today,

    Better get on I suppose.

Thanks for the list I'm here x
  • Good morning. It is still quite dark and very wet here. Thank you for the lists Bossy and Natty.

I made some progress last week although not as much as I wanted to. The house did look reasonably tidy till the weekend, one good thing is I am starting from a better place this week than last :)

This morning I shall have a quick tidy round in the worst rooms before I start on the list although it is highly unlikely I will be cleaning outside my front door today as it is raining heavily :)

Hope everyone has a good day x

Thanks for the list bossy, and for last week Natty

Didn't do too badly last week, but got sidetracked by Rugby and cooking over the weekend so I have a lot of jobs to carry over. One of which is oiling the garden furniture. I think I'm going to be dodging rain!

My new steam mop arrived on Friday. Just as well, Furry Beast had an accident last night. We'd closed the kitchen door because it was so cold. I'm going to try and arrange a curtain for over the door at night that he can get through to go outside.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Thank you for the lists, Natty and Bossy. I'll have a shot at Level 1 today.

    Welcome AuldBint!

Good luck with the new courses. I hope everyone enjoys them.

I hope the hospital goes well today, CY.

Tidied up the communal garden yesterday. After meaning to do all sorts of little jobs for weeks I'm not sure why I didn't just get on with it all when the thoughts first occurred to me. Anyway, they're done and it was relatively easy because it was all very dry, so just in time.

I've been meaning to say, one of my New Year's Resolutions was to pick up 365 pieces of litter this year which I intended to do while dog walking. I'm sad to report that I managed more than that number by the end of February but really, really pleased to say that the area that sparked off the idea has been litter-free most days for the rest of the year so far, which is a massive change on previous years. It really is true that the more litter there is, the more people drop. Most days I'm still clearing up something on the Hoe which will be never-ending. I now have permission from the head gardener up there to grab weeds from the beds as I pass, as long as I take them home. Fine by me.

Paperwork, mostly, today. The In Tray is teetering.
    Better is good enough.
  • Thanks Bossy
I'll try to do all that after my perm.

Well done on your littler picking and weeding honey, I tend to weed the park that sides on to me in our corner and clear the littler from there, as it annoys me seeing it looking so messy.
Just taken the knitting I finished over the weekend to neighbour's she was really pleased with it to the extent I made her cry. I was just happy to have something to use the wool up on.

Right all set for a HHI x3 will set a timer and see how far into it I get.
