OH and I went out for a meal last night. It was lovely, and when we got home I asked him what the bill had come to so I could record it in the spending diary. When he told me, we realised it seemed too cheap, and got out the receipt which didn't seem to have the drinks included, which might have come to about £12. Would…

I was once in a pub where one man at an adjacent table ate a meal that wasn't actually his. When the person whose meal it was asked why their order was taking so long, the staff realised their mistake and booted out the man who had scoffed the meal.
