checked my online account, same as heatherw_01. I ordered two filters...I did get an email confirmation but no letter through the post stating a delivery date...just an offer for a free grill if I place an order now quoting ZD39:P

Maybe I'm looking at this a bit too cynically, but it does seem a bit like a sneaky marketing ploy. :rolleyes:

Advertise something on the website at a silly low price (but make sure you don't have stock!)

If they know about bargain forums they'll realise that word will soon get around and there'll be heaps of orders.

Set up accounts for everyone who orders, very quickly followed by the delivery of their catalogue so you have a look through and will probably (possibly) buy something.

Subsequently cancel all orders for the low priced item, saying you can't get more stock or something...

Maybe it's just me who's suspicious of this

i didn't get email confirmation but i also received the catalogue on Saturday and it did say to follow.checked online and it says cancelled.just rang them up and the woman said it's because they don't have the stock and they aren't getting anymore in.just told her i wanted one and that i'd keep ringing 2 check.wot else could i say?

I think you might be right.... I'm !!!!!! off with them... I have just checked online and sure enough it says my order is cancelled... Grrrr... no email or letter to tell me this though...

I will act dumb and wait till the 8th of june (this is when the item should be delivered by) and then the !!!!!! will hit the fan...! shortly followed by me closing my grattan account!

They don't deserve my business with crappy tactics like this...

Today I received 2 letters from them, one saying they are getting stock in and one saying it has been cancelled how strange

I got a letter to saying that they have run out of stock and their buyers are unable to find any of the high quality and service that they want...

I'm going to email them as we ordered 2 (one in my name one in my partners) and they've only told us about one of them...

What does the letter say about getting stock...?
