Retail are Vodafone employees, customer dis-service are third party companies, same as tech and every other voda dept.

Vodafone says it has 13,000 employees, a crock of *beep*, Vodafones 500 stores and head office do NOT have 13,000 employees, and that tells you everything you need to know about Vodafone

    13,000: http://www.vodafone.co.uk/about-us/company-history/
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

Asked to leave a shop for having the sheer cheek to go and ask that they do what the are contractually obliged to do???? Its a sad state of affairs if that's the attitude of some. Im sorry but I have never been nor ever will be the sort to bend over and take it from the back. Firm believer in getting big companies to abide by their own t&c's.
If it says VODAFONE above the door they are VODAFONE. full stop. They can not have it always when it suits them. The shops are not franchised so in my opinion they are just as capable of resolving my issues as much as they are just as capable of taking my money.

So by your rationale you would drop into a Vodafone shop in the Netherlands or Australia and demand they rectify the issue? It says Vodafone above their door as well.

Or if you have a complaint with your BT bill you would confront the BT technician working on the green box at the end of your road? It says BT on his van.

Sometimes actually going to the department or division responsible for the problem can resolve the problem far easier than just shouting at someone who happens to work for the same group.

By my rationale I am on a UK website discussing a UK company. At no point did I say I was going to Holland or Oz.

in experience, Vodafone stores worldwide have allowed me to use their phone to call UK customer care, 3AU (now Voda) allowed me from their store to call 3 customer care.

Voda retail staff can authorise anything on your account calling 3rd party customer care, the problem is some of these outsourced muppets and management wont take authorisation from a actual Vodafone employee - store manager.
