Only 80% of my target achieved this month, I have f........found it difficult this month due to various disasters of the spendy kind.
Ha ha, Igor, you thought I was going to use the forbidden f word didn't you? Now you've got to somehow stuff Shawn the Bouncer Shark back into his tank....Good luck with that......

A very good score there is has to be said!

  • Yes, a few flagons of pumpkin cider and he'll be singing like a little birdie!

Now off to find Mrs Doyle - she needs to add industrial strength loo roll to her shopping list, seeing as Igor has put his infamous bat curry on the menu for tonight's party.

Bat curry...hmmmm,we are in for ...a rough night.

Hubert, you should know by now that wearing stiletto shoes is not a good idea when trying to put up bunting. Now, help me disentangle zenshi from the six miles of bunting that knitwitch so kindly knitted for us.

Igor, this band you hired....there is a nasty rumour going round that it's The Good Ole Boys, tell me it's not true......Oh dear! Well, at least the officers of the Law cannot reach us out here on the high seas.....what's that, Mrs Doyle? We're within the three mile limit, so are in home waters? Oh, that means they'll send a police boat after us if there's any bovver.....which there won't be......as long as the voles don't get their mitts on the pumpkin cider.

Lots of NSDS in the Cauldron....maybe, Igor, you should have put the Cauldron more towards the middle of the ship, as the weight is making the front pointy end dip down in the water a bit.......I am sure it will be alright until we get back to shore later, so let's get ready for the NSD gang Pirate Themed Halloween Party!!

Hi everyone. Sorry I have been absent most of this week. Have been away in the middle of the Shropshire Hills and a wifi / mobile phone blackout zone!!! Have had a small spendy day every day - either buying Xmas presents that were planned ( but still counting) or buying some bits for my nephew who is due in December. Only spent a couple of pounds on myself.
Will catch up with all the posts missed later. X

  • Can't wait for tonight's party to get under way......and to get back onto dry land.
Remember that I have incriminating photos of a certain Inspector Swindle,so there'll be no problems with the law tonight or for the foreseeable future! :D;)

zenshi I have to say that the Halloween bunting looks fab,but why is Hubert tangled up in it,high over our heads? He doesn't look very happy up there.
I never said he was to stay up there,no I certainly did not.
Ok,the bunting has to come down please as we have a large, distressed, rara skirt wearing, incontinent donkey suspended over our heads who urgently needs a nappy change.

I don't know, I surface from my cabin after watching Strictly Come Dancing with a glass of Old Widow champers and some cheesy nibbly things, and I am all set to enjoy the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties....And what do I find? A bunch of drunken, gibbering pirates all gathered round what looks like a mummified donkey......And what is that awful stench?

Please tell me it's the bat curry.......
