I am happy to cut back everything after my first post. But I won't take what G6JNS is saying silently.iammumtoone wrote: »Do you think that you two could remove your posts and show some respect to the OP?
I do not care who is right or wrong, all I see is a thread from someone who is clearly very upset and still grieving, they do not need to read all the above!!
I will delete my own post in a little while hoping that by the time the OP reads it, there will be no record of any of this.0 -

Fair point, you have both read what you have to say so need for the OP to see it. Thank you for for considering their feelings.0 -
I find posting on companies and councils facebook pages useful0

The Chambers English Dictionary defines humbug as followsDandelionPatrol wrote: »Deleting my response to this humbug sticks in the throat a bit.
"Hollowness, pretence, fraud deception or an imposter", None of those things seem to apply to what G6JNS said.0 -

I will not comment on who i think was right or wrong in the 'discussion' between the two posters as it is irrelevant but what I will say is DandelionPatrol had the decency to remove their posts when it was pointed out they were out of place on a grieving daughters thread. The posts of G6JNS are still here, or course they may not have seen any of this so it would be wrong to judge on that basis, but DandelionPatrol has removed theirs so respect should be given for that.
Now please can we just leave this thread alone to allow anyone else who has helpful and relevant advise to the OP to be able to post.0 -
Well, that is a matter of opinion. I cannot see that it is at all out of place to comment that the OP's mother's gift vouchers could well have been diverted to the benefit of a staff member at the council. Particularly as OP is upset that she did not get them. And I do think that G6JNS's reaction to my post was disproportionate and misdirected.iammumtoone wrote: »I will not comment on who i think was right or wrong in the 'discussion' between the two posters as it is irrelevant but what I will say is DandelionPatrol had the decency to remove their posts when it was pointed out they were out of place on a grieving daughters thread. Op, have you applied for and been granted letters of administration? Maybe the council won't release the vouchers until you can prove you are entitled to them.0
