They, the kids, would be mortified.
They would, if they were raised by ignorant knuckle draggers.0 -

Not always possible, you may be on a motorway, stuck in traffic.0 -

why its not a sexual act it the bond between mother a child and women should be able to breast feed whenever needed cause you can hardly say "sorry baby youll have to wait till i find somwhere hiding away "
no one complains when women walk round topless or with bikinis on in summerReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -

In genuine cases I agree with the 'cause' that they should not be prevented from discreetly feeding in public - by me or women. I say that as a bottle feeder.
I agree with 'the cause ' too.
I just meant that some women are so strident and militant about it - the people I call the 'breastfeeding maf1A - that they would quite likely be part of The Sisterhood too.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Do you have any experience of teenagers? Of course they would be mortified, whilst covering their embarrassment with a range of b88b jokes:rotfl:
Another example of the breast-feeding maf!a. Get organised, express your milk and put baby first, rather than your latte, yoga class, or bingo!

But why? Why shouldn't a woman breastfeed while having a coffee? Why, for example, must she use a bottle, which the baby might not like?
I would imagine the baby doesn't care-food is food! It's Just idleness as if your child needs feeding-and you should know when this is-you should put your child first, not your need for a coffee:rotfl:
However, there are those who are daft enough to try and cash in on the 'breast-feeding' wave.

I would imagine the baby doesn't care-food is food! Except the baby can care. My daughter didn't like bottles and would sometimes refuse them. Equally, bottles can interfere with establishment of breastfeeding It's Just idleness as if your child needs feeding-and you should know when this is-you should put your child first, not your need for a coffee.
You see, we magical women are able to multi-task, feeding our babies and having a coffee! It's the very opposite of idleness. The vast majority of breast-feeding mothers just want to be allowed to feed their children as they see fit and leave the house and be left in peace. It isn't much to ask and you haven't explained why it is an issue.0 -

Not advisable as that can prevent the baby taking the breast in the future, the content of breast milk is also determined by the babies saliva, no saliva on the nipple means the milk isn't sufficiently taylor made for the baby. If you only like babies being fed in an unnatural manner maybe when you are out you should put a blanket over your head.
Breast feeding is incredibly lazy, I mean feeding everg forty five minutes for the first four weeks is really lazy, wheb instead you could work really hard by grabbing a ready made warmed bottle and feed baby every two hours instead, way more effort right there.
Putting your child first is breast feeding them with they need it, not using a method they aren't used to because some people are ignorant.0
