It is still possible but you do have to ba a bit of a contortionist, I have done it twice, at extreme discomfort to myself whilst sat in between a toddler and a baby seat with the baby safely strapped in of course. (And whilst wearing a seatbelt myself although i was leaning rather far forward.)
Was it really not possible to find a convenient place to stop the vehicle and breastfeed?

Once she made that lie (albeit high profile in public), she could not find it in herself to confront the truth, she painted herself into the corner and just couldn't face up to reality.

It strikes a chord with an article I read about the 'naked rambler' who gets arrested in the UK and imprisoned because of his perceived right to walk about naked in public.

His ex-partner was interviewed and basically inferred (if I remember correctly) that as he put his views forward so stridently and so publicly for so long, he just can't face thinking about it from any other angle. To change his mind, would be humiliating, he's painted himself into a corner.

Is this true? Someone can breast feed wherever they want?

You're legally allowed to breastfeed anywhere you're legally allowed to be, which isn't quite the same as 'I can feed anywhere I want' but it's as good as.

I heard on the radio that she is facing q jail sentence as attempting to pervert the course of justice is a serious offence. So the saddest aspect of all is that the child will now be without its mother (housed at the tax-payers' expense in prison) for a period of time.

Not necessarily - there are prison mother and baby units for babies under 18 months.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Puts the baby at a double disadvantage at the very start of its young life - an environment of incarceration on top of a thick mother.

I think the possibilty of national recognition and reputational damage is enough punishment. I don't think there's another way that wouldn't also be at an opportunity cost to the poor babba.

  • Because the breast feeding Maf1a are not above losing a man his career and reputation to get their cause across.

He's only a man after all.

Why would breastfeeders be against men? Most of them will have loved the man who got them pregnant, and roughly half of their babies will be male.

In genuine cases I agree with the 'cause' that they should not be prevented from discreetly feeding in public - by me or women. I say that as a bottle feeder.

Well, I couldn't imagine anyone breastfeeding in front of a class of teenagers!

They, the kids, would be mortified. :)
