Breastfeeding woman admits Primark lie
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-34346798
I remember at the time the outrage on mumsnet. I can only assume the woman was attention seeking, but that is taking to the extreme.

Stupid woman.
The article says she could be jailed.
That would be no less than she deserves but I guess there's a child to consider.
Pity she didn't consider the repercussions of her lies on her child at the time.
She was probably after some compensation/goodwill gesture from Primark.
They should post her picture on every door on every Primark store and refuse to let her in.0 -
For attention, because she enjoys playing the victim, because she was hoping to get Primark vouchers as compensation...who knows. It's a very strange thing to lie about, and stupid too - did she really think CCTV wouldn't capture the truth?0

This smelt like bovine excrement from the start, with the store's clearly worded rebuttal. Didn't stop mob hysteria on Twitter and assorted websites; it's lucky for the guard that they weren't named at any point.
I hope she's given a hefty fine as a warning to other attention seekers, and also those who post stuff online assuming it's true. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -

Primark said at the time of the allegations that there were no guards there that even matched her description! Which in itself is lucky otherwise no doubt names would have been mentioned.
It really was a stupid thing to do0 -
"I stood my ground and stated my rights, that I can legally feed where I want," she wrote.
Is this true? Someone can breast feed wherever they want?0 -
I think some people with a cause get carried away and exaggerate/lie about the problems they have faced in order to strengthen their position. Unfortunately if they get found out it massively hurts the cause they support.0

A few quid from the Daily Mail.
I honestly don't think she's the first0
