Umm, 139 onwards are not exclusive to dual carriageways, y'know. The presence of a cycle lane does not make a road a dual carriageway...

Umm, yes they are!:eek:

Not all cycle lanes have a solid white lane, but they do on a dual carriageway!

Which is why rule 140 specifically mentions this under the heading, ummm, Dual Carriageway!

A solid white line indicates a barrier, just as a central reservation does. That defines a dual carriageway.

Only you would be so obstinate to ignore The Highway Code to continue to argue the toss!:rotfl:

Surely no-one thinks that a broken white line separating the opposite directions of traffic can be called a 'central reservation'?
